I really enjoyed this video. Great story! My milling hobby started with a large oak that fell in my field and I didn’t want it to go to waste. It is now part of a cabin by my pond.

I’m so glad to hear you have had success. You started from the furniture side, I’ve started from the lumber side of the business. Where I live folks are cutting down the pines and cedars for fire safety. When lumber was high I was busy. Now I’m starting to work on furniture. One offs like you started. Thank you for sharing it’s always nice to hear success stories, it’s very motivating. God bless you and your family, also the woodland mills family!!

Same here. I purchased the same Saw because of the big ACCACIA log. Now i have lots of btf of live edge and nobody wants to buy it. That's fine. I will make garage, basement benches out of it. Really nice hard wood. I wish my wife would have let it stand. "She Says" 30+ " oak is coming next. Women!. Can't live without them. No business here at my age too late to learn new trade.
