Edit- I figured the magic drop out finally, keeping the yo close to my throw hand index during the pass over made the rejection happen.
i started yoyo-ing 10 years ago but kinda got stuck at an intermediate level. I can do a double or nothing but could not do anything more complex. today I started this trick and it worked after 30 mins. so actually I am better than I thought. edit: one day later. I can do the trick now 1 out of 10 times! but I also remember why I stayed away from more complex tricks for so long. the knots that can "happen" when doing mounts and dismounts are horrible :D but due to the quarantine I yoyo every day again
I really like the tutorials on this channel. The camera angles are really helpful to seeing just what the hell is actually happening jumping the yoyo around. The front view is basically useless in a lot of tutorials - either the "face mount" where it's looking straight down, or that nice side angle (0:22) is where it's at.

this video is great and also you're goated man, Sometimes when i dont get a trick right with other tutorials you give me that one small tip that solves everything.
YoYoExpert he means the way you did the trick. In the tutorial you show yourself doing the first pop straight up, but in the intro you do the first pop off to the side. It’s different.
So, I have just got a sage, I feel from watching this video that I need a dark magic 2 in order to try this trick, is it me or does andre have "dark magic"?....lol
YoYoExpert im sorry i cant buy the yoyo :(. i live in the netherlands and i want to pay with my bankaccount bu the only way i can buy the yoyo is with a creditcard wich i do not have. so unless there is another way i will have to buy a shutter

If you can't pay with a card you can try PayPal, but If that doesn't work, don't worry about it. Get the Shutter, it's an excellent yo-yo!
