Ghanaian doughnut | Bofrot| Toogbei | or Puff Puff is one of African's favourite snack, most people loves and cherishes. You can enjoy it with Porridge, hot or cold beverage. PLEASE

THE RECIPE 👇
- 400 grams of All Purpose Flour
- A Sachet of yeast (equivalent to 1 tsp)
- 50 grams of granulated sugar
- A tsp of Cinnamon
- 1/4 tbsp of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 250ml of Evaporated milk
- Warm water (Please use warm water for the dough to proof because of the active yeast)
- one potty custard

Chaiii... this bofrot is a PHD holder ooo, having the hausa koko in Calabash has brought me soo many memories, growing up in the northern region we used Calabash on daily basis. I love the cinnamon flavour and aroma in the puff puff but I haven't use custard in my puff puff and so I am definitely giving this a try. Thanks for sharing sis much love💖🤝

I’m not surprised you have this in Kenya dear Beyold 😊. I made them for my Indian school mum friends, thinking they’ve never had it in their lives and they will really enjoy it 😀,only to be told they also have at it India😁. I think they put almond in the middle which is the only difference. The world is such a small place and we always learn 😀.
