French farmers threaten to besiege Paris in tractor protest

- Hundreds of farmers across France have blocked major highways and streets with their tractors in protest against low prices, high taxes and E.U. environmental regulations. NBC News’ Josh Lederman reports that farming unions have also threatened to block all major roads into Paris and drive their tractors to the presidential palace.

Farmers are the hardest working people on the planet. It was a mistake to threaten their way of life.
...and they're doing it on every continent!! in the US they're crapping on the farmer in every conceivable way possible... in France, Germany, Belgium, etc... go to South Africa... they have declared war on the Boers and want to wipe the white farmers out... in a genocidal frenzy... this is a coordinated attack on the average citizen to drive prices so insanely high that you have enough for bread and water... and even that will be too much in your pocket.

I feel that was the plan all along here in California. Not giving them the water they need to just survive and at the same time the government is purchasing huge areas of land(like thousands or hundreds of thousands of acres) to “conserve it for everyone to enjoy” ya right. I think they are “conserving” it along with our oil and minerals for when the Chinese finally move in permanently. They already are running the universities, medi outlets, work with the cartels, own huge farms, timber farms (in Oregon), pork industry, etc etc. But feel Newsom deliberately ruined California and it’s value so big cooperate people or “non profits” can swoop in to purchase. Did this by emptying the prisons, closed down 4 or five prisons, making it easy for a person to steal up to $950 or maybe $999 worth of items to still be a misdemeanor, property value goes down, businesses close up, entire tech industry is pretty much gone, bidens open borders, cops aren’t allowed to be cops, landlords have zero rights(during Covid there was a moratorium that lasted three years where tenets didn’t have to pay any rent while owners still had to pay their taxes etc, and so much more. I’m American. I Was just in France for 3 weeks and couldn’t believe how cheap groceries were. Drastically cheaper than in US. Idk how farmers are making money so this makes sense.
Same in Germany and even the UAE, everything is one third to one half the cost of US groceries. Of course in the US it's the corporations and the retailers who have jacked up the prices, not the farmers.
They weren't making money. Which is why they get subsidies to supplement the income and keep them farming. But with the new tax deals they are pushing farmers will be even more in the red.

@@laujack24that's because the government made those alternative cheaper by undermining their local producers in favour of propping up foreign interests. This is what Globalism is. Cripple your local manufacture industry, intentionally under tax imported goods, to make the public buy what's cheaper and then once the means to provide for themselves is out of their hands, you control them.
And as for the politicians, they get to doctor the markets however they like, take bribes when necessary or just straight up insider trade in the industries and companies they cooked the books of the economy for to get ahead financially. It doesn't affect them, it never does
