It's great for comfort, but if you fall while walking, it can cause a harder fall on the knee area and damage that area.
Since I use a prosthetic leg, I can experience these falls more harmlessly. The force of the knee hitting the ground is harder due to the posterior joint system.

But among the many things I'd love to know is one thing about magicians.
If they don't tell their secrets, how do you learn magic tricks? There are the very basic tricks everyone could do because they are so common, but beyond a simple, well known trick, how does one get into magic and learn the fundamental techniques to fill up your 'portfolio' of tricks. That's what I have always wondered.

In those uncomfortable moments when we think nothing is possible, we start to fail. But even sitting down without a chair was possible. Now think again about what you think isn't possible.

Become a high level steel fabricator with welding abilities who has a backround in design and engineering.

there was a contestant at my high school talent contest 47 years ago who did something similar. He called it "driving the invisible car." The steel plate his foot hooked into was on bearings and was moved around by a giant magnet his partner was moving around under the stage. I was the partner. He did the performance on stage because he only weighed 110 pounds and I was 225 so the trick would work better with him. Plus I was never able to master the smooth discrete way he slipped his foot onto the anchor point (our term). He came in 2nd place though. The Ventriloquist with the talking pet rocks came in first.
