This fabric is maybe the most beautiful I’ve ever seen
That fabric is stunning!! What a lovely dress 😍
This is beautiful! Perfect to make longer for a Renaissance festival dress.
that fabric is gorgeous!! jacquard is always a wonder to design with!! I always love a historic/modern mashup and this dress is so beautiful. the double skirt makes a really cool silhouette and layering effect!!!!
That fabric is stunning! Maybe a waist band on the interior to connect the lining skirt would work also to reduce the bulk as well as add a bit of length to the lining skirt, just a thought
This is one of my favorites that you've done. I love the fullness and the color.
Another fantastic dress!!! I'm in awe of your fabric choice, the colors shift depending on the angle of the light and it just glimmers with the different hues, even the wrong side is gorgeous! Amazing workmanship! Thanks for the sleeve cap gathering tip, very useful. I would love to send over a design for you to make, would you be willing to work with stretch lace? That's if you choose it! You're amazing 🤩
Thank you so much! You can send in any design you’d like, of course, stretch lace is not the easiest, but I’d be up for a challenge! 😅🥰
This is a beautiful dress and the fabric is gorgeous!
This dress is beautiful, maybe an idea for avoiding bulk inside you could cut the lining as a circle skirt that way you will only have one flat layer and still some volume. Or a second option could be is to treat your lining and you fashion fabric as one and gather them at the same time and then use the lining bocie edge to cover those seams.
Stunning dress and the fabric is exquisite. Thank you for sharing your talents with is.
Beautiful as always! Thank you for sharing your talents with us 💙 🤗
Thank you so much!
aarghh this is kiyoottt ~! !

that dress is so pretty
Very pretty!

das Kleid ist wunderschön geworden 😍
Gorgeous! I love your idea of making something from our designs!
so gorgeous😭
Amazing 😻
very useful tips in the video ireally appreciate your effort thankyou so much
That fabric 😍
The dress looks gorgeous.I couldn't understand why you sewed the skirt lining with the seams facing out until I saw your finished excellent pattern drafting and use of fabric.
30:15 omg, using a crochet hook for the lacing, brilliant!
this is possibly late but my idea was to add a bias piece ti the top of the lining skirt and attach to waist which would make the waist less bulky
Okay. I must make this dress 🥺🥺
Another stunning dress and great video!! Would you mind sharing where you got your boots from at the end? They suit you so well!
Thank you! They’re from Naked Wolf ☺️
@@THISISKACHI thank you so much for your reply!
Hey kachi, crazy beautiful fabric, I guess I should also consider etsy for some fancy styles :) A question for you! In the last couple of weeks, I am trying to make a custom dressform with bootstrapfashion. The pattern however, came out really unfitting. While the circumferences did indeed fit, they were not at the right spot and everything was just not my body at all. Since I ordered the pattern back then as a bloody beginner around the time you posted the video about your dressform, I might have done a couple of mistakes in the ordering process. But now I also really dont want to order another pattern and take the risk of another failure. Instead, I want to adjust the pattern, and I did make some progress, but still... Stuff is weird in spots, and for the love of god I can not figure out what to change in the pattern to make it look better in 3D. And since I've sewn this freaking thing now like 8 times, I am slowly starting to lose my mind.. Long story short... I am hoping that you have some kind of tips, advices or ideas how I can learn about fitting garments... maybe without paying tooooo much for it :D You would certainly save my sanity from the very destiny it will face, if this fitting process will not end soon :)
I tried the Bootstrap dressform last year and had similar problems! Same measurements on the form, but looked totally different to me. It also didn't have any hips somehow. I think fitting the form properly is an advanced skill that many beginners who struggle to fit on themselves, and therefore want a form, will struggle to do. I've given up, at least for now, and I'm trying to make an expanding foam dressform for about 50 euro in materials which is definitely worth saving all the time and fabric of redoing the bootstrap one ...
Bootstrap do let you remake the pattern for only $2, I think, but when you're as far out as I was, it could mean several "drafts" and printing all those pages over and over again ... I wish they'd let you remake it a couple of times for free tbh, since there are quite a few known problems with the pattern. It's such a wonderful idea and design, I'm gutted mine didn't work out.
If you haven't tried the bootstrap facebook group, it might be worth posting there. There are some great posts on there but it's also impossible to find them because it's a facebook group
🙄
Anyway, best of luck!
I also have the same problem with their dress form. Although the measurements were right, the waistline wasn’t at the right hight. It sits two inches below my actual waistline. So now I have to shorten all of my bodices two inches at the bottom. So far it works fine but l’m afraid it’s not going to work with all of my designs.
can you do something with smocking?
Wow
Moon ❤❤
Where did you get your fabric
رائع 💚
Your videos are beautiful, but I hope you put a pattern in order for us to understand more
She sells all her patterns in her Etsy store. Including this one
