I Made My Dream AC Game Using Mods

- One of the favorite pastimes of any Assassin's Creed Fan is daydreaming about future settings the franchise could potentially go to. It's something we've been doing since the beginning of the franchise, and it's something we'll probably still do years down the line. The modding community behind AC Unity and other ACs have provided so many niche and amazing mods that transform the game experience into basically an AC Fan's perfect dream. In this video, I realized one of my top desires for an AC Game: A late 1900s AC. I first created a character using the AC Victory outfit mod, which is one of the greatest outfits in the series, and equipped this badass assassin with Altair's sword and a modern MK3 gun. The combination of this old ornate sword with a modern gun is the perfect encapsulation of how a modern Assassin would equip himself.
I then added some modern enemies and used ACU Fixes to really tie together this epic video. AC Unity does feel like a better game overall, and these mods allow me to express a different player fantasy. I hope you enjoy it!

I will keep saying this but they could have expanded Layla's story in the modern world. Bring back the bleeding effect that we saw happen with Desmond. This time, the roles are reversed, ie, time in animus and in real world swap places. Since Layla is the Heir of Memories, she can jump from one assassin to the next, gaining all their skills- have it be assassins that have interacted with Pieces of Eden (which can provide longevity for the franchise as we can explore those assassins in later games). Let Layla go through Abstergo compounds, clearing them out with Altaïr's precision, Arno's stealth, and Edward's cunning. That would be an amazing thing to see, plus, with modern day, we can get to see truly innovative assassin technologies (think taser darts, mini drones, etc). I'm still really annoyed with how they ended Layla's story, lack thereof.
Thing is, Layla was an interesting character ONLY IF you took the time to read through every single email she had. Which is why it hurts so much especially for me since I know damn well people would like her only if ubi fleshed her out PROPERLY.
I think it would in the west, though it's not quite the same, at least we have the WWI questline in Syndicate which is pretty good imo

I always wondered how the AC franchise would have turned out had Unity come out on a finished state. It’s parkour, stealth, co-op, combat were the series’ peak in my opinion.

id say unity's parkour looked the best but the ezio games had far more control over the actual parkour itself
It was so smooth. My favorite feeling game but the release killed it. But as a die hard fan who played them all I still enjoyed it. Of the newest games I enjoy origins that's the best new game they made and as odd as it sounds I enjoyed the heck out of mirage because of how simplistic it was and that was how I liked it the era of Altair and ezio.
I think Arno should’ve got a sequel, unity had so much potential and following Arno to find out how and why his father got killed his perfect

@@irate_samurai i always hear that phrase but never understood why people want it so much. ac at its roots was a very odd concept with a lackluster of content. story, stealth, parkour and fights (spam button to counter all attacks) with a very repetitive gameplay loop. not to mention the usual charismatic main characters. modern day ac games aren't perfect and sometimes lack in the character enjoyment department but the games are enjoyable in their own rights.

@@nossie4560just so it’s clear people wanted more proper stealth in ac games, games like ac3 or brotherhood had stealth but it was very rough when it came to it. With the rpg games there was less stealth than the other games that followed the original formula, if anything both sides of the series could really learn something in the stealth department.

Also a Modern-ish AC game could definitely work! If anything it could bring us closer to the modern day conflicts of the AC lore. Also imagine the weaponry & creative gadgets you could use in an WW1 or WW2 setting!

I don't know why but I get the sense they had plans for it and scrapped it somewhere along the way, maybe when they realized if they just kept going forward chronologically that would mean the series was coming to an end too soon.
I mean in the opening for Unity we saw "Jazz Age Junkies" as one of the other Abstergo produced games, and that sounds like a more modern game + the WW1 and WW2 missions in Unity + they clearly put way more effort than was probably needed or expected into Lydia's rifts in Syndicate. I definitely feel like they were giving us tiny tastes of what was eventually going to come and then decided against it

It’s infuriating that ubisoft wont put in the time to do this kind of work to their game. Just being happy with copying and pasting over and over, making false promises and not finishing their own work. This is amazing dude. I literally cant tell you how impressive this is and the skill you have to make it look so good.

Damn, imagine if mirage felt a fraction this good, like i miss the classic ac games, Ezio, Connor, Edward and Arno just tearing through groups people like paper, and it feeling so satisfying, and the stories where fun and engaging, i loved origins but the other newest games feel lacking in all the ways that count for me, would love them to go back to unity gameplay style in the future

Honestly a WW2 AC game would be so cool to see
I was thinking a really good setting would be the Warsaw uprising, lots of old architecture to climb around that would dynamically change as the game progresses and a built-in story about an underground resistance
That setting would allow for so many cool subplots
Imagine acu fixes added the real catch ledge like In the original games where you could reach out in any direction and catch anything. They would have to do some fiddling with the snap targeting system to make it so you can truely jump anywhere, and they would have to fiddle with the animations so it looks smooth, but just imagine the parkour runs people would be able to do.
Also add instant animation canceling… idk if this is actually possible but I can only hope
I really hope modders will keep helping the games evolve to unthinkable extents
… and speed up the animation when you first run up a wall… that would be pretty easy to add and would allow for more complex scaling of buildings. I could daydream all day lol

My dream AC game is one with no sword and the combat is all based on poise and breaking enemy posture without your own getting broken. The assassin wears clothes seamlessly fitting for the era and uses a mix of nifty gadgets hidden up the sleave. The open world content would be of an investigatory noir nature where anyone in the small map could be a secret templar and you get put together the clues, make the deduction, learn their routine and assassinate them. A shadow or Mordor Nemesis System is in place in map zones that play like huge Hitman 2016 levels.
Damn fine work! ACU fixed is probably the most assassin’s creed in the franchise now imo

Man... Watching this really makes me want to play this on Keyboard n Mouse. Reason being that I play on a PS4 Controller that sorta has broken keybinds for the fixes mod. For example, if you hold down circle or X in moments of climbing or assassinating or jumping, you end up throwing whatever bomb you have without wanting to, thus blowing your cover most of the time or wasting resources.
The other thing is the way this guys Arno moves around lol. Homie is so smooth with it on everything, meanwhile my Arno struggles to contemplate that I am trying to jump from one thing to the other and sits there. That was an 8 minute adventure for him would have probably been like a 30 minute adventure for me if I wanted to go full stealth... at some point I would just tank everything and attack everyone wildly.
I really hope they will bring back helix rifts/timeline crossover like the ones in Unity & Syndicate on their future AC. The WW1 section of Syndicate is the closest we got of having an AC in the modern era

The mod that we can shoot jumping is absolutely a thing that ac always needed and never had (i just play from 1 to unity, i am playing now syndicate and soon the others, forgive me if i saying shit, but old games it was completely possible and easy to put that, anf if you think "hoho a newbie in ac games" nah cuzin, i play since 2012, i just never played the ac from ps4 ahead cause in brazil everything costs much). I hope codename Red be so fine like that mod, me and old friends when kids was ever thinking how cool should be controling a ninja in ac universe.

See I think that Unity has the most potential of the AC games, especially with what the modders can accomplish, but for some reason the parkour always felt weirdly floaty to me. Like it looks great stylistically and looks super fluid, but then some of the jumps looks more like the animations finish early and Arno just floats the rest of the way through it. I think that Brotherhood will always be my favorite AC game.

@@AltairStealth y i know those are only for pc :) just wanted to know how that slowmotion thing works? do you have to press some button or does it just trigger automatically on some moves, on aiming or how? :P i have pc and it easily rolls unity, but never tested any mods on any games so these kind of videos just raises my interest to try some mods, like these what u are using.
Take it up a notch and find another player like you to be another assassin watching your back. It would really raise the Brotherhood style.
