2014 MB GLK350 1337,1897,2060. Let it go w the CEL on and PremAir unplugged to see if the 1337 comes back. If it dont, I'm gonna order the PremAir. FYI 2060 = PremAir installed in wrong location. The SnapOn scanner for these (1897,2060) codes actually says " this code can be ignored and erased" never saw that b4.

Don't agree with SnapOn. The SO scanner is probably the wrong unit to use.

So the PREMAIR sensor was defective, right?

Yes, and was killing the Alternator LIN Network. Not the Alternator, but the LIN Network. The Alt used the LIN to command the alternator. There are a bunch of other sensors hooked to the LIN like that. See more info here...I have a network Ebook here...
