    Great explanation.. im trying to fit a blipper, it works by giving slight throttle voltage when i downshift.. device only have plus and ground, would it works if connect it to aps1? Will it trigger fail safe? Will aps2 follow the slight voltage increase from tps1 without actually touching the pedal?

      Ok, chances are throttle and APO are good. Your problem is something else, as in an air fuel issue, injectors, ignition, etc.

  • @dodgemagumhemikiller4326

    I've got a 2006 magnum with a 3.5 in it no codes on the dash but it surges at a constant speed or light throttle clears up when I give it more gas change the the electronic throttle body still doing it but it hooked up my scan tool did a live data with the ignition on car not running watched the "acc pedal e" chart slowly pressing the pedal down the percentage would increase but would go to 0 then back up and would hit zero a few more times till maxed out then went back to normal . Not throwing any codes either would it be the electric accelerator pedal?

    • @ADPTraining
      @ADPTraining  Před 4 lety +1

      Ok, I see your typical issue. This is exactly why I created the ELECTROTHROTTLE Tester. In the link below, look for the Blue-Voltage ELECTROTHROTTLE Bondle. That's exactly what you need to test this unit. Had you bought it before it would have paid for itself.

    In a jeep wrangler jku 16 i am getting etc error if i install a pedal commander (aftermarket throttle controller) inline and use a cb radio pointing toward the throttle sensor ! If i use a CB radio connected to the vehicle and the antenna connected to the vehicle ground,, with a pedal commander installed, the cb radio will also trigger an ETC error and check engine will light up. Idle will increase. If i remove the pedal commander and use the cb radio,,, no etc error light... What can be the cause of our problem?

    • @ADPTraining
      @ADPTraining  Před 3 lety

      Take the pedal commander and through it in the garbage. It's picking up EMI or electromagnetic interference from the CB. This is a sure sign of bad design. Good luck. autodiagnosticsandpublishing.com

      @@ADPTraining yes i have removed the pedal commander but i need to understand why it was working before but not anymore.. maybe i have damaged the ECU , or the throttle sensor.. if a layer redundancy in the pedal throttle is damaged, maybe i will need to replace the pedal throttle just in case .. but it is $200

      Watch carefully, on the second take the second ground is interchanged. The reason is obvious, one POT tracks inversely to the other, which is the idea for redundancy and reject IMI or interference.

      The P2122 OBD-II trouble, or fault, code means that the vehicle's on-board computer has detected low voltage in the throttle position sensor (TPS), which is usually below 0.17 volts.
      You can test this TPS by using my ELECTROTHROTTLE and the BLUE VOLTAGE found here.
