    For anyone with 19 inch 403m wheels the kit does run a little bit but on the tops of the caliper, however it will eventually stop rubbing.

    A timely innovation. Also, there are floating 380mm rotors for the M which are much lighter than even the 1 pc 370mm rotor.

      The OEM 370mm rotors are actually technically 2-piece with an aluminum hat riveted on. I think they weigh about 29 pounds. How much do the floating 380mm rotors weigh?

    Great work! This is much simpler and cost efficient than BBK or buying F8X calipers. My only question is the strength of the bracket since it will take a lot of load. Have you already run this on the track without an issue?

      If it's the 370 to 380 kit, just align it so the hole is at the bottom like the picture shows

    Can I use this bracket to add the 370mm front rotars from the none m3?
    The original bigger caliper says 370/380mm
    Can you shed some light
    Do they fit both m3 380mm like in the video , also the 370mm because the bracket must make the caliper same mm 370/380 fitting ???? Gives a holla back before I buy , thanks

    Would they work on 18” without removing the pads extensions?
    OEMs one got 4 pieces of steel that is said are there for ease of installation

      It's not needed. Pad removal is very easy without them. I was on the side of the track swapping pads between sessions and it took 30minutes.

    Definitely going to email you very very soon! Sourcing some 6 piston front brakes from either an m2 or m4 and 4 piston rears. Don’t necessarily need the carbon ceramic just want bigger rotors and then more pistons. If you haven’t done it yet we shall Guinea pig together like you said !

      Wont fit dude... are you really that simple to think a bracket made for a 340 caliper to 380 disc, and the other bolts and bushings to fit the 370 to 380mm disc , will work on a completely different 6 pot caliper .... . youll be needing a custom bracket.. so hate to burst your bubble... but it doesnt work like that buddy!!!!!

      @@DECKEDM i know you're really struggling with this so I'll try to break it down for you.
      F3x 370mm and F3x 340mm calipers both bolt to the same hubs. The caliper spacing itself is what determines the rotor size.
      F8x 400mm and F8x 380mm calipers both bolt to the same hubs. The caliper spacing itself is what determines the rotor size.
      F3x 370mm calipers and F8x 380mm calipers are the exact same caliper.

      they work great. no coding is necessary in my experience.

      You can code the S2NH or SPBR option. It calibrates the car for the bigger rotor.

      I've heard of people doing this but it's a hydraulic system so coding doesn't make sense to me.

    Hmm. Really concerned about the lack of material on the bracket. Only a tiny bit of metal between them two bolt holes. Surely would of been better to have the caliper slightly rotated clockwise or anti clockwise to get a bit more metal the bolt holes.

    Might have missed it. What’s the reason for needing to swap out the threaded bushes for the 340-380mm kit? both bushes look the same? I understand it on the 370-380mm

      @@kern417 thanks for the reply mate, so it’s to do with the threads in the bushes? Like a different pitch? Was bugging me I had to know haha. Some kits don’t supply the bushes just the brackets.

      The hardware has a different thread pitch but it's used for both types of adapters, so that's why you need to replace the bushing even if you're not installing an eccentric bushing so it can fit the same bolt

    Would you need to upgrade the pads to the f80 versions if you did fronts and rears? Would it make sense or keep the pads that come with the M performance calipers

      Pad fitment is the same but I recommend upgrading them for the best performance. There are a lot of options available.

    Does the calliper actually fit properly with this adapter? I can see some rotor exposed in the “final thoughts” part, meaning the pads don’t fully cover it. Seems like the calliper is offset a little bit too far

      @@kern417at 4:31 you can see how the pad in the 340mm calliper goes right to the inner edge of the rotor ring. I also checked my m240i and it also covers the rotor completely. Yet you can see a bit of exposed rotor with the new setup. I’m not trying to diss you or anything, I’m just interested in getting this kit for myself so asking some questions that pop up in my head before purchasing it. Thanks

      @@baronmunchausen645 again that's how brake pads fit. They are smaller than the rotor. After rain you will see a thin around the rotor and when it's worn you can pick it with your finger nail.

    So the 380mm Rotors fit with no problem? there are mutch people saying that only the 370mm rotor fit the normal 1 2 3 and 4 series

      @@kern417 I know i watched it its more about the wheelhub so you read that the wheelhib of the m cars is different and that the 380mm rotors do nor fit on the normal hubs only the 370mm

      @@dragongamer8253 1/2 series are different in the rear but not in the front. All you need are my adapters for the 380mm rotors

      And the hubs aren't really the issue. You'd just need to swap the 185mm hand brake components otherwise the e brake won't work. Otherwise it's bolt on.

      Ise 80 ft lbs on the caliper to bracket. For the bracket to the car, I didn't torque it since it's covered by the bracket anyway so it can't back off. Just make sure it's tight.

    Just one thing I didn't realize when doing this to my car. The F80 rotors use 2 set scews on each side because of the knuckle. Is that fine that it's only attached using one set screw?

      That's only on the rear. You'll need to drill and tap the hubs to fit them, or you can install without.

      Somebody else asked and in theory it would but I haven't tried it myself and I don't know anybody that has. You would need the six piston calipers
