Banggood is much, MUCH older than Temu. It also got banned in Denmark for some time, because of unsafe workshop equipment. Also, Banggood is decently legit - they are a store, not a platform for different sellers.
BangGood was the first Chinese site I ever used, over a decade ago.
but they are refund "credit" scammers..... easy and willing to do refund but you have to wait 6 months as the money needs to be in their accounts that long before they clear it since they claim they do not deal with your bank and you need to pay them via paypal for your order while you wait for the money you already paid them via bank transfer. They did it to me but my bank intervened and I got my money back from them within 3 months. The longer they can keep your money in their account the more interest they get on it.
Very legit, sending empty $70 boxes
@@stevenblakesleyoh no, a company handling millions of orders a year made a mistake. How dare they not be perfect
Came here to point this out, but I can see more people noticed the mistake.... Banggood is much much much older than Temu, very well known in Europe. Another one is the Geekbying, as Austin likes to get scammed, it would be another good one :D
Banggood is old not new 😭😭
Yeah iv eheard it a lot before
Ikr I ordered from them pre pandemic lol, probably 2012ish.
Absolutely correct! The Shop ist valid and sell since years😂😂
I used to order my RC car parts on banggood like 10 years ago. Lol
It's new to Austin 😅
Banggood was definitely at the forefront of inexpensive electronics coming from china many years ago. Well before aliexpress and most other similar attempts. Usually sell more realistic items, rather than the *actual* garbage from current chinese sellers.
Banggood is the OG fs
DealExtreme too
Banggood used to be decent, but I've switch to only using AliE.
I bought a remote control boat from banggood like four years ago. Still running fine and well!
literally just bought something off banggood a few days ago
Pretty sure banggood has been around since around aliexpress days. temu and wish are just knockoffs of banggood and aliexpress :P
And shitty ones too, sure both bang and ali have their share of garbage, but there are quite a few gems
Wish and temu tho, yeah nah, nothing that's not shit there
truee
BG predates AE with about 4 years. AlBaba, the owner of Ali Express, was founded in 1999.
There was dealextreme too in those days. And buyincoins
@@ThylineTheGayall the stuff I've ordered so far from aliexpress, was worth it.
Austin "The new Temu"
Banggood "I'm older than you bro"
Bangood is the oldest of all the ones you mentioned early 2000s I believe
Was about to drop a similar comment. It's an oldie....but not a goodie, lol. AliExpress ft!
Yeah, been using them for electronic shiz for a long long time.
came here to say this, i ordered there way before the chinese crap store hype even took off! was well over 15 years ago
iv'e used this website to buy smartphones, always has been good to me!
Isn't this older than Ali or Austin for that matter? Millions of subs, thousands of views, hundreds of employees.... none of them know the internet.
188g vs 339g: over double the weight. Ladies and gentlemen, your tax dollars luckily NOT at work this time. Homeschool FTW
I'll head back to Linus now. Same diff...
banggood was around a long time before Wish and Temu - its more like Aliexpress in age.
So if it is as old as everyone said they are, why does everyone not compare Wish and AliExpress to Banggood(which is never mentioned at all in anyones reviews). Then Temu comes out which still no one compares using Banggood as reference. I have personally never heard of them, this is the first time hearing of this company, after only knowing of the other 3 main used ones that are Reviewed on CZcams.
I was just about to say the same .... confused me that Austing made it sound like its something new.
ALAW
Before the Canadian dollar tanked, I ordered a lot of RC parts and weird electronics from them. Fairly good experience overall although slow shipping. This was years ago when the shipping was usually free.
Joe Biden is destroying the economy everywhere, not just the north american continent, he need to go, so the world can be saved, please vote in trump again so our gas and food will go back to 50% of what it is now
Same except airsoft
Yup, about 5 years ago it was my go to for cheap drone parts that I could buy lots of to destroy.
@@googolplexfpv is it still good for drone parts? Im getting into FPV.
Same about 4-5 years ago bought motors for an AT skateboard I made
Still runs like new
“Curved to the side…”
“Same…” 😂
Now I really want to see Christopher Walkin play a Sith Lord.
Maybe for the Dawn of the Jedi movie. He can store the first lightsaber ever created like he stored that golden watch.
16:10 - Hearing Kenzie laughing just made my day
Yeah, they've been around a while. I bought stuff from them way before Wish or Temu even came out or were mainstream. I think I even bought an Ender 3 3d printer from them for a really good price. Have always had good luck with them.
Wish started in 2011
The ender 3D printer wasn't released until 2018? Am I crazy or is just 5 years not "awhile" in the grand scheme of things
Flip 5 = 188g
Fossibot F101 = 339g
Austin: That's over double the weight.
Not only can he not count he can't add/multiply or compare numbers either.
Bang good has been around for a fat minute.
2012 I remember using it
@@TEAML3ZAR it's from 2006, it's an adult now
I am 2006 born, don't make me feel old 😭 (I'm 17)
@@stormiezz me as well.
I love it when Austin shows how young and inexperienced he actually is. Through purpose, or by accident...it came off poorly.
Banngood has been around since you were a baby dude. You obviously had no idea.
I guess yer' 'big' enough to pay people to do that homework for you these days. Fire those people......they make you look disconnected and careless.
Still love your content overall and watch you with my pants off. (It's okay, got them off of Wish)
😇
They need to add bluetooth to the chair so you can connect to your PC and use it for force feedback
That would have so much latency
eBay
Amazon
Banggood
And all the others
Banggood started in 2006, so they've been around for a while 😝
I love when the cast of Matt, Ken, Kinsie....they roast Austin
"but my sinuses feel like i just did......" IM DYING hahahaha good studio bumps for Austin
Using banggood for the past 7 - 8 years or so and never had a bad experience with them actually. Affordable gadgets at good prices.
yeah me neither. My electric scooter was half price at some point I ordered it and it still works just fine 6 years later. I like them so much more than any other site.
I bought my Ender 3 V2 3d printer from there a few years ago. Came in original packaging and still sealed for about £50 less than retail. Heard that banggood have turned to the dark side of online retail recently. Such a shame
Watching this in mid December, also props to Kenzie for being more vocal, give him shit whenever you can. Makes for good content.
I love Matt's energy and enthusiasm.
Banggood is part of the original 4 companies after Fasttech, Gearbest and Aliexpress. I believe there may of been a 5th one
God I miss Fasttech, best site for vape supplies ever.
Dealextreme/DX is the og you’re forgetting
@@ernestryles DX was absolute shit compared to the others listed
And to think only Banggood and AliExpress survived out of them all
@@prz98 gearbest is still alive i think. but aliexpress became king for me i used to use bangood and gearbest but its now aliexpress and amazon :)
banggood has been around for a while, and is actually pretty good depending on what you are buying, if you have realistic expectations
As others have said, Banggood been around for a long time. I seem to recall first encountering it in the early 2000s when it sold, among other things, the cards for playing Nintendo DS game images (R9?) on a real DS. As I recall, the pointer to Banggood came from an even older Chinese site which had stopped selling such cards after crackdowns by Nintendo.
If you were ever part of the original FPV drone scene. You know Banggood is the real OG!
So many drones and parts from Banggood!😂
I think Austin’s next vid should be on the TikTok shop lmao
banggood has been around way longer than teemu lol... i used to use them in singapore a long time ago to get the mini-pcie riser to pcie x16 slot using a proprietary weird hdmi cable that has been heavily modified.... it was the only place that sold it back then.... and then suddenly every platform had it.... this is the era of pre thunderbolt e-gpu....
this platform is better than teemu... this platform was the platform to go for those living in asia and needs electronic goods from china... its basically asia's amazon that only does electronics and delivers to individuals and not containers of items like other platforms back in the day....
Bangood basically took the reins from DX back in the day, and hasn’t been topped since.
Love watching these types of videos keep it up bro
I used to work for a company that sold stuff on Banggood. The products would arrive from China in big squared cardboard boxes wrapped entirely with yellow duct tape. Then when you would open the boxes, some of the stuff inside was already broken or damaged because all that was inside was a little bit of plastic wrap or foam on the top and bottom with as many stuff crammed into the boxes. Then you had the products themselves that was so cheaply made and packaged. For example headphones that cost like $50 would just have a piece of the thinnest cardboard, plastic over the headphones that wasn't actually attached to the cardboard with like a few staples and a cheap plastic bag to protect the packaging that usually already came off it before we opened the box
So a lot of times we would have the product that someone ordered but the product was in such poor state or actually broken that customers had to wait longer for their purchase till we got a next shipment of the product which at times was anywhere between a few days to literally several months. There was a person that had to wait for a security cam set that cost almost $300 for almost 8 months because every time we got the product something of the set had broken during shipping before it got to us
Wow :/
Banggood works usually very good in Europe, they even have European warehouses for fast shipping.
Banggood has been around forever! Super popular with the FPV/RC hobby community.
Matt's "Same." comment had me on THE FLOOR!! XD XD
Wait till Austin finds out about GearBest...
We need a series where Ausin gets therapy from getting scammed so many times
He should buy a therapist off temu. 🤣
He can call it. I got scammed by my Therapist 😂
Looks like somebody is going golfing😂.
Is he really getting scammed here? He knows what he’s buying
@@41moosedoes he? $75 for a empty box when they asked for his shirt size?
What,, BangGood is old as f.. 😂😂
Kinsey roasting Austin brings me life
15:00 Was the highlight for me 😂😂😂😂😂😂🔥🔥
Banggood predates Temu by over a decade.
RC hobbyists have known about banggood for YEARS
20:27 well that's a style thay I wasnt expecting Austin to wear in videos 🤣
Christopher Walken lol that impression was hilarious
Ah, good ol' Banggood. The only time I've ever had to have PayPal intervene when a company shipped me items, they were damaged in shipping (the box arrived looking like a car backed over it), and then they refused to refund me.
You probably tried the western way, by being angry. That doesn't work with the Chinese.
You have go all "Dear Sir or Madam. I've been a long time satisfied customer yadda yadda yadda, Sadly, my latest purchase had an issue. It saddens me that our long history is at risk of becoming sour." Then you yadda something about the actual issue and finish with something like "I hope we can find a swift solution that will satisfy us both, and that we'll have several more years of business together."
Once, I asked for two spare parts, and got a 200% refund instead.
And if you don't cheap out on shipping, everything will arrive nicely packed.
Um, no. I took photos of the clearly run-over package, sent those with a message simply stating that the package arrived damaged (photos and message were sent before the shipping company's website updated with "delivered" status") and how can I get a refund or replacement." No "angry Amurika-ing" involved. In fact, my first three exchanges were all even-keel. Only the last time, when I was clearly being stonewalled, did I criticize the stonewalling and mention I would contact Paypal. I then shared all those back-and-forth exchanges with Paypal and got a refund from Paypal after only a couple of days@@BigFatCone
That’s odd. I’ve always had excellent cs experiences from Banggood.
yeah people have to remember that its the seller, not the site
@@ernestryles
i bet they said they give you a refund of points 😂😂😂
I love when austin gets half tech and half clothes/ random items
" i thought it was a pro max in his hands" XD🤣💀
@ 2:10 ~I was thought I heard him sa "Bom-Bad" lol
Banggood has been around for a while, and sure is not a scam like wish etc. I bought larger items from them - like solar controller, 3D printer, RC stuff, and all showed up. Their thing is that at least in EU, they have their own warehouses so you can pick things that will arrive in few days, instead of weeks.
I'd put it more like Aliexpress than Temu/Wish.
Camera lady sounded like Door Shredder monsters in Monsters Inc 😂😂😂
"Is bend to the side"
Other guy: "Same.."
🤣🤣🤣🤣💀
Banggood is old
Austin thinking banggood is new is not what I expected today
I ordered a mechanical keyboard from this website and it shipped a week later with no issues. So it is a legit website, but the experience might vary depending on purchase.
5:00 😂😂😂 Ken challenging a F1 fan to RC race 😂😂
5:41 Austin showing off his F1 racing lines...
6:05 🏁🏁RedBull gives you wings
Bang good is one of the OGs of this. Back with my first DJI Phantom 1 it’s where I bought my GoPro camera gimbal and other parts for cheap when DJI was trying to sell their gimbal for like $1000. I think I may even have a video on my channel about it.
Oh boy those were the days. Drones with 2-4 min of flight time, no built in cameras, no apps, and you had to watch blindly lights in some crazy Morse code to know what was going on.
Banggood has been around forever. Way before temu. Tf you on.
You'd think a "tech" youtuber might know this. 🤦♂️
Omg he didn't know one thing. People don't know everything calm down
@@stevejobs1955 he literally does tech youtube videos... It's his job.
Dude, it's just for fun...
@@nupagagyi actually it's for clicks. People click it thinking "oh what's the NEW temu" to discover its not new at all.
Always used to get my drone parts through Banggood. Been around longer than the other two.
8:33 austin that uhhh….that is not double the weight and definitely not more than double haha
I ordered a HDD caddy from them many years a go. Was a special one that had a physical write protection switch so you could connect to virus infested computers and be safe. Worked for a couple uses then died.
That’s a pretty cool product
I love how SCAMMED is now a desirable кlickbait word for hack youtubers, every video gotta have it
More Banggood pls this was brilliant.
All these years and the meme of the apartment fire lives on 😂
The $99 dollar phone was limited to 100 at the sale price.
Shein is a better version then temu tbh
Wdym? SHEIN uses forced labor
@@aishacs true but I get my packages in a week or so not months
@@aishacsHonestly, I doubt Temu doesn't do the same. Many products come from the same supplier with such practices and that is the only way they are able to get the prices to be so cheap. I believe the original commenter just meant product selection/quality wise, SHEIN is better. Labor practices with any of these cheap chinese e-commerce sites will always be sketchy at best.
Width all respect but you're wrong on that. Shein items takes a lot to arrive, also some have defects and it's a pain to get a refund or to them resend you a new item, working conditions for their employee.....and so one
Josh will always find a way to put in a picture of Austins old house on fire.
4:10 you use a I phone mini 😂😂😂😂😂😂 the burn commences
Austin spinning lightsabers in a see through jumpsuit is now scorched into my retinas
I got my Skyloong 65 mechanical keyboard a few year back, about 4. Delivery time was 2 weeks, my keyboard is working perfectly to date. Btw, Matt, that Cristopher Walken impression was perfect
The first console was likely working properly. However, it outputs a different format from NTSC video like that TV expects thus cannot sync.
Lol bot
Alibaba was the first of the more known overseas stores(1999) then banggood(2006), ali express(2010), wish(2011) and temu(2022) .alibaba is almost as old as ebay(1995)
I remember seeing something cool on alibaba and thinking wow this is so cheap, oh wait I have to buy 2000 of them minimum.
16:00 that jumpsuit kinda clean 🤣🤣
17:20 that kind of reminds me of how it looks like when you try to run something with a NTSC signal on PAL tv back in the CRT-days
banggood is actually quite popular also in india for electronics. It is basically just like aliexpress and it is really nothing like wish or temu and what people said. It is more older compared to say wish or temu.
Decibels are logarithmic, so the next whole digit is actually several times louder than the previous one, so realistically hitting a hard wall at 90dB with your voice is correct
Second ad just before starting this video was... TEMU! 😂
been shopping on Banggood for a decade. mainly RC. never a problem
before i watch this banger of a video lol gotta shout out the Chain Bear T-Shirt 😁
Best part of the video was Austin playing Golden Sun!
Does it have panzer dragoon saga or shining force iii. Answer pls
15:04 dude too brutal yet funny 😂
The channel 99 reference was dead on. Gotta love the "black box" cable box. Unscrambled every channel you could think of that you weren't supposed to have.
Bruhhh I literally had that Panasonic tv for like the longest time. Probably up until 3 years ago 😭😭. Brought back hella memories
Not sure about recent developments at banggood but I last bought items from them was back in 2018. So they were not new. Shipping is not too bad but kind of slow. Gonna know what you are getting yourself into.
Instructions unclear, I ended up in an unholy place
I ordered stuff from Banggood like 8 years ago for my medical manufacturing company. Had no issues...
i remember using banggood 11-10 years ago to get cheap rc planes parts it was exactly what you expect generally. i never had anything to complain about.
I like that he hit a certain volume and the pitch of his voice kept going up but the volume stayed the same lol
Man this is a old old site, my first order here was i think 10+ years ago. Always good never problems in the years that i orderd. Even mobile phones.
Ive been using bangood for at least 10 years, mainly for racing drones and rc parts.
Yes bang good has been around longer than aliexpress and temu
If that Hydrogen bottle is _actually_ doing as advertised, and not just taking air from the outside and blowing tiny bubbles, then it's not _adding_ hydrogen into the water. It's actually splitting the hydrogen and oxygen bonds of the water itself (so the water ends up with less not more) and those gas bubbles are BOTH hydrogen and oxygen gas. Which both also happen to be rather explosive. So that product is potentially _legitimately_ dangerous, although the amount of gas is likely fairly low considering the amount of power usually required to produce a decent amount of hydrogen and oxygen gas.
I've been getting my 1/24th rc from them since before the pandemic! ❤
that Mystery box was a total suprise xD
I got my Xhaomai or whatever laser projector from them and had no issues. quick postage, good communication. Saved $800
I remember seeing banggood pc parts like 4 years ago, when i was searching for parts to buy for my build
The “Join me.. on the Dark Side” is not getting enough credit 😂
🤣🤣🤣 thank you Jed-Austin
banggood is an oldie you also have light in the box and joom
