  • Tonight we take a spin through the backroads of Kiln with author and tour guide, Al Saucier, to discover the moonshine trails of the early 1900’s. We reel in catfish at farms throughout the Delta and the World Catfish Festival in Belzoni. And we explore how private citizens come together to build their own skateboard parks for the community in Jackson and Hernando.

I love my state! Building out a high top van now to tour after I retire, and I don't envision leaving my state for a long while. Too many great people to meet and things to see!

Sounds like a good plan. Good luck on your van.

My great grandfather was a bootlegger from Chicago who came down to Mississippi in the 30's so he could still make a living (prohibition ended in the 30's but remained in MS until the 60's). When I'd ask about him growing up family would say he was a vacuum cleaner salesman and laugh. He seems to have made beaucoup money. Had a fine house in Jackson and left my great grandmother with a good inheritance.
