A great tribute to a man of action. I didn't have a lot of this information and I didn't agree on some of the things he did but he will always be a great humanitarian.
There was just one Frank Melton and we all miss him in many different ways. I'm sure he would tell us that each one of us individually is totally unique as well. His uplifting attitude continues on in the subtleties of the Jackson and Mississippi population. If someone eventually does research and writes a screenplay about the life of Frank Melton and produces the movie, it would be a huge National Blockbuster.
I miss Frank man I was apart of that camp at that ymca and was telling my wife that you could smell Frank if he had just left although it could’ve been 45mins ago with that smooth grown man cologne on😭 RIP 🪦 Leader, and Dad/Frank Melton✊🏿
I worked in his home during a movie I was working on. He haunted the hell out of the house, especially in the room he died in. his "bat cave" was extremely creepy. he also slept in the same room as the boys he adopted.
Now matter who you were or where you lived at in Mississippi you knew who Mr. Melton was! When he walked into the room the spirit of authority came with him. As a youth growing up in late 80’s and 90’s he came to schools making eye contact with every kid! When he looked at you it was like he could read your mind and could tell if you’ve been up to no good. He could smell it on you!😂That fear felt like whatever bad spirit was in you was got so scared that you could feel it trying to hide. When he walked by and looked in your eyes you had to hide your thoughts cause if he read your mind he would snatch you up and give you that ass whoopin’!
Miss him... he tried really hard to make Jackson a better place.
someone do a movie about Frank melton. It would be a great inspiration for all people.
