Opening the BB58 box...and the sound... *both*.... aaaaah!
Another very good video, guys. 👌
Could become our signature sound :D We are working on more sound effects right now. Stay tuned... :)
Great content guys. You bounce of each other really well. Keep it up!!
🙏🏻 Thanks for the kind words, Sunny!
I bought a BB Black (41mm) in 2020 and eight months ago the BB GMT. I have 7'5 inch wrist size and both sits perfectly on my wrist. I'm delighted with both watches and very impressed especially with the accuracy,. The BB Black (+ 0'7 seg. a day) and the BB GMT (+ 0'4 a day).
Great and very interesting video and many thanks for sharing.
Love Tudor- I am newer into horology and Tudor is quickly becoming my favorite brand. I have the Brass Black Bay and will have my Harrod's Black Bay green in a week :D
Not too easy to get your hands on the Harrods Black Bay, though. Good job! :) Tudor is a great brand/watch to start with. That's for sure.
I own the blue eta rose dial version and I love it! Would love to add the GMT to my collection very soon.
Great content guys - I’m a big fan so far!
Hello Joseph,
Big fan... sounds very good! :) Glad you like our video. Personally, I really like the blue version. I wish we would have had it on the table as well. To be honest - I have never seen someone wearing the blue Black Bay. What might make it even cooler! So, congrats! What do you say about the size of the GMT? That's something that would hold me back. Maybe I should wait for a 39mm verison of the GMT... Cheers, Pascal
Chrono24 a 39mm GMT would hit the ball out of the park! Hands down - it would be their greatest model!
Let's see what happens in 2020 :)
Just got a Tudor black / blue eta smiley today, I absolutely love it.
Has to be the red Tudor for me - that bezel is just so beautiful and unique! I own the newer in house movement version, 41mm is the perfect size for me as I have a 7.5 inch wrist. I do wish it was 2 mm thinner though, but on the case like the BB58 (otherwise I could just get the ETA version). The case sides are just too thick imo, otherwise its perfect!
completely agreed, I wanted the 41mm too but it's just a bit too thick
Heritage Red Bezel for me, with the inhouse movement, of course, I have an 8" wrist so the larger case doesn't bother me. That's what is on my wrist right now!
I'm about to buy a Tudor black bay so very useful video thank-you
Just bought the Tudor black bay in house movement. Great vid and keep them coming. Though let’s hear voice , volume, mad enthusiasm from the both of you. I know you both will take the show above and beyond.
Hi :) Thanks for the helpful feedback. Alright, we will to improve all your points in the next video, which is coming soon! Hope you will like it even more then. Cheers, Pascal
I just bought the GMT a few days ago and the in-house movement has not lost or gained a second since setting the correct time. Quite remarkable a mechanic watch being so accurate and at the price is the bargain of the century
Perfect!
I have the S&G with the champagne dial but my eyes are set on getting the BB58 Blue. Great content. 👍🏽
Been trying to get my head around al their model variants for some time, struggling until I watched this! Great video.
Thank you! Glad we helped you out with this video ;)
Chrono24 which one do you think is the best investment/ will loose the least?
I really wish I could foresee this... 😅 Would open some nice doors for me... 🧐 Jokes aside. You can track the performance of all BB models with the help our our Watch Collection: www.chrono24.com/info/watch-collection.htm. As far as I can see, none of the Black Bays is a bad deal... so far. One point could be that the more popular color options like burgundy and black sell faster. Compared to bronze, blue, steel & gold.
I fell in love with the S&G when it came out. Then had to save up, and ended up with the one with the champagne dial. Love it. Even tough i have a small wrist, i don't think it wears too big or thick, in fact i like the size just the way it is. Nice video by the way.
Great! We have the first guy rocking the S&G! Does the date bother you? For me, I would have loved to see it without the date. But overall the "matt" finish/look of the S&G is dope. Glad you like our video *_*
@@Chrono24Official Date window does not bother me one bit. I just find it very useful, and for me, it does not ruin the harmony of the dial. But that is ofcourse only my opinion.
Sure! Would not say it ruins the design :) Still a good-looking watch.
Nice content guys! Tudor's 58 is a great piece indeed.
May I suggest that you look more into the camera? It would engage the viewers even more :)
Hello Elena,
Yes, Tudor did a good job with the 58. Thank you for the feedback! That's true. Next time we will definitely try to look more into the camera :)
Clearly your not a watch fan, if you were you would not have taken your eyes off the watches 😉
Would love Balazs' wrist check. Guy on the right's watch. Awesome review by the way!
Thank you Jay! We will cheer you up with a wrist check next time ;)
It's a North Flag.
I have the BB BURGUNDY. Had a few years. Very happy with it. Thank Toy Guys.
"Had" means you sold it. If so, for which watch did you let it go?
The 2016 Black Bay burgundy bezel is my next watch. Thank you for another excellent review.
A pleasure to read your comment 🙂 Another review video will be out very soon!
I bought my BB 58 as soon as it hit the dealers and absolutely love it. The poor thing is really beaten up now though as I wear it every day 🤦🏼♂️
Would you recommend the iwc mark xx or the Tudor blackbay heritage with red bezel?
Hello, looking at video it appears the older model dial is slightly different it has more texture dial compared to new model where it more flat black. Would you be able to confirm this or it just looks like that in the video.
I have the GMT Tudor with the Pepsi bezel. For my next Tudor, I will wait for them to release a blue dial Tudor Submariner.
Maybe the wait will be over in April already :D Let's see!
A BB58 with a red bezel and guilt triangle would be aesthetically stunning. I just purchased a BB58 on the nato and it’s so comfortable and find myself just admiring it.
They really did an outstanding job with their Nato! What about the "Blue Bay"? I wish they had used more vintage hands and markers (like on the Black Bay 58).
Love the video, only tips: you should present your own watches ‘wristcheck’ at the begining. 👌🏻
great idea actually!! thanks for it Jarl-Erik 👍
@@Chrono24Official what did you guys wear In this particular vid.:)
Pascal was wearing a Rolex two-tone DJ while Balazs was rocking a fitting Tudor North Flag 😉
@@Chrono24Official Looks great :) thanks
That north flag looks really good on that guys wrist
Thanks for the compliment. The Northflag really is a hell of a watch that you can get for a very very reasonable amount of money. I think it deserves more attention :)
Heritage Red 2012 and Heritage Harrods. Been thinking about the 58 Blue to go with jeans outfits but i have other blue watches to do that job.
The red Heritage Abu Dhabi is nice though...
I have BB Burgundy COSC movement and I really like it. Its a bit on the biggish / thickish side but still wears ok. For me, the "grail" in the diver watch department would be a 40 MM BB58 with domed plexiglass (rather than flat sapphire). If Tudor comes out with such a watch, I'll sell my grandmother to get one.
Its done.
Love my black bay heritage
For me, it will be the bb58. I have a 6,75" wrist so not a big one and this watch just ticks all the boxes. Wearable size and thickness, Rolex expertise like you said, new cosc and anti magnetic movement, automatic, water restistant and what I like the most, a superb vintage look, all this for a very good price. So the perfect everyday watch. Tudor made a big move forward with those models.
Gotcha ;) And totally agree! Let's see what they will release next *_*
Im surprised you guys actually complimented the riveted bracelet as it seems to get a lot of hate from people. I like the rivited bracelet as well I have to add
Hey Guys from Chrono24 and all! Thank you very much for the nice video. Which Black Bay Colour is hottest in the market at the moment? In other words, which colour would be a better investment? I will be thankful if you help me with this question.
Alex Giyahi agreed - let me know what’s best I want to know too!
I guess one of the hottest is the BB58. If you see this as a "colour". It gets a lot of attention at the moment and is sought-after by many watchguys. Speaking of the 41mm BB, the burgundy might still be the most popular piece. Rarely seen is the blue bezel Black Bay. Best, Pascal
Chrono24 Thank you very much Pascal for you response. I agree with you about burgundy colour too. What’s your idea about BB Harrods edition? Does that sound like a good investment?
Compared to its initial retail price it had of course a price increase. Not really a surprise as it is a limited edition and there is a waiting list. So, if you can get your hands on one new/retail, it might be a good "invest".
Chrono24 Thank you very much Pascal. appreciate your tactful response.👍
I have the smile red, and I am so very happy
I went for the Black Bay Steel and can‘t be happier!
I got confused cause the guy on the left at first thought they took away the in-house movement after the newer bb. But the guy on the right kindly corrected him by saying the new one has the in-house movement and it’s much thicker.
I got me a 2019 BB, blue & black of course with the new movement - love ❤️ the watch and the size 👌
Just bought the 2023 Blk bay red Tudor
I was given the Tudor GMT in July. I really love it. It is my first experience with Tudor, and I am so pleased that I have this one. I got it with the black and red cloth strap. I would like a black Sub.
I have a north flag that I love. Had some problems with the movement and had it replaced as a guarantee after one year. Please talk about Jaeger Reverso in the future.
Hello Göran! Hope now everything is fine with your Northflag. Alright, stay tuned... ;) Great idea with the Reverso! Cheers, Pascal
Pick up my 925 today I also own a royal s and g diamond dial live Tudor
Cool
Thanks!
@@Chrono24Official yup
I have a 2016 tudor black bay blue, it's very sporty and accurate, but I think it's a little bit thick and east to scratch on the side of the case
Hey Samuel, great that you chose the blue one! Maybe they will at some point come up with a thinner 39mm version like the 58.
Chrono24 Here comes Black Bay 58 Navy Blue:)
black bay gmt i own would like the smiley face red bezel
I'm confused I have a 17cm wrist, should I pick the Black bay 39mm or 41mm ?
39mm is a great size, especially for a 17cm wrist.
Ein sehr interessantes Format! Weiter so.
The question is, the ETA or the in house movement...
I think the ETA would be better for the simple fact that it would be easier and cheaper to get it serviced?
the manufactory caliber is definitely better.
I have Tudor Heritage Black Bay 41 with the smooth bezel and Tudor Pelagos with in house movement. Both are great watches with great value. Tudor is a blessing for us, Rolex fans as you get Rolex quality at much more affordable price. I used to wear my Rolex Submariner no date for daily driver, but since the Heritage Black Bay 41 came out, I wear BB more often since it is more elegant and classic.
Next watch on my list would be Heritage Chrono with that derived Breitling B01 Movement, that would be a steal at lower price than Breitling.
Hi Joas, thanks for sharing your experience with Tudor watches. Which bezel color did you choose for your BB41? True. You get a good quality watch, but I personally (as a Rolex fan too) think that Tudor has its own character. It is much more than a Rolex at a better price point. Can totally understand why you wear it more often. What do you expect them to release at this year's Baselworld? Best, Pascal
Hi Pascal. I currently have the smooth bezel BB Heritage (M79540), the most affordable among the BB line. The thing that I like about it that it really looks like Rolex Explorer I.
About Baselworld, I really hope that they could come up with Tudor Advisor with simpler design yet true to original, next would be a redesign on Tudor Style, which unfortunately looks tacky for the current running model. (Make it simpler and magnified date like datejust with different stick indexes, with thicker fluted bezel and for different touch, they can apply pie pan texture like Omega)
Both Tudor Style and Tudor Advisor have a lot of potential yet they keeps expanding the black bay line which I found rather safe but not willing to take risk and not "Born to Dare" I might say. ;)
Hey Joas,
Actually, I did not expect to read "Tudor Style" and "Tudor Advisor". Expected you to say Tudor Sub and probably an improved GMT. Let's see what will happen. Except for Tudor, what other brand gets your attention?
That would be JLC and Grand Seiko. JLC in my humble opinion should have been listed as the one of the greatest Swiss watchmakers along with Patek, although the finishing may not be as nice, but from the recent model, I am really stunned by their new releases. And from Japan would be a Grand Seiko, no question, offers a lot of value for their watch. The dial is perfect and can be compared with ultra luxury Swiss watches such as PP, VC, and AP, and GS will still win because of their pricepoint. It is a sub 10k usd watch that is on par with 50-70k usd swiss counterparts and that is mindblowing.
My apologies auto correcting still have the the BB BURGUNDY. My apologies.
What watch is Balaaz wearing ?
He is wearing the Tudor Northflag :)
Black Bay 58
Good choice! ;)
BB58 best diver watch ❤️
What is the watch that the guy on the right is wearing ?
Balazs (the guy on the right) is wearing a Tudor North Flag
I have 15 of them because every time I get a Rolex must take 2
A brand new Tudor Pelagos arrived at my house last Fall. After a few days, I actually opened the box and set it, wound it and wore it for several days. Nice reserve power; some titanium for light weight. After about a week, while on my wrist in the morning, the watch simply stopped. I reset the watch and wound it and put it back on my wrist. It stopped again. That was it. I sent the watch back to where I bought it under their warranty. That was early January. Brand new watch. It is now March 10 and I've heard nothing. I mean its not a Black Bay but looks like one. A date model was not my concern. I just wanted a tool type watch, sporty that I could wear all the time. Here I am having put out about 4K in dollars and I got to use and wear the watch for one week. I sure wish that this watch with its in house movement and its self adjusting band had held up a bit longer than a week. AF
Hello Alex,
Thanks for sharing your experience with the Pelagos you bought. Even, if it is not a Black Bay. Of course this should not be the case! Would be interesting to know what the problem with your watch was. Haven't heard of any problems with the Pelagos so far.
Best,
Pascal
I love the vintage version of the Tudor with Rolex parts like the crown the back case and sometimes the oyster bracelets. If I’m correct not sure the Tudor Oyster Prince.
Not more than a month, month and a half ago, I finally collected money and decided to buy one of my Grail watches, the Tudor 79200R, via chrono24. I have to admit that everything went very smoothly, trusted payment, 14 days to verify the authenticity of the watch (which in my opinion was not necessary, but I did it). This was my first but definitely not the last purchase via chrono.
I'm not sure if I left positive feedback, so I'm doing it here and now.
Big thanks!
Thank you Maciek for sharing this story and feedback! :) Makes us proud to hear we helped you to get your Tudor!
Since 2 weeks I have the black bay steel. For me the best option becouse the date function and the great clean look of the watch.
I would love to see a change system for the bezel then I would rock the colors and the people would thinking about the crazy guy with so many different watches 😂
Sounds like a plan 😅 But what bezel color would you go for in the first place? I personally like the blue bezel color most. Also because this is not really seen too often. Best, Pascal
@@Chrono24Official I love the red bezel or a bezel in full gold would look gorgeous 😍
We need more date models
I have the black bay Steel and love that look and date function.
I own the blue Pelagos. Love it! I’m interested in the GMT but it seems to be missing something,
Interesting that the old ETAs are more expensive than the in-house movements. I guess because the ETAs had a shorter run and thus collectors are more interested.
This might exactly be the reason. The watch world is sometimes (or always? 😅) a bit irrational.
I'm stuck between deciding on the Pelagos, black bay, BB58 and the GMT. I like them all.
Would say the Pelagos is the most sporty one! More of a tool watch. The BB58 is the most versatile one in my opinion.
I bought the red bb 41 a few weeks ago and im made up with it. And as far as im concerned it IS a Rolex. So there!
Fantastic! Which version did you go for? ETA or inhouse?
@@Chrono24Official in house. The ad in Kuwait gave me a deal on a red one and it worked out £100 less than uk. I paid, walked away and then checked my bank. It was £200 more than in the uk because I was ripped off with bank charges. Oh well. I still love the watch.
Love mine. Do not be overly concerned about your wrist size, this watch wears smaller than it is.
Shame Tudor doesn't use the heraldic "Rose" any longer...
I personally also liked the rose better! Need to go for a vintage piece then. Greetings, Pascal :)
I have the Tudor Submariner 7016 transitional & I lean more towards 58 for that reason but I want the boutique bronze version most.
39mm is just about perfect...... in fact, I think the BB58 IS just about the perfect watch. If you had one and an Omega speedmaster 006 moonwatch sapphire sandwich you really wouldn't need any other watches.
Great! True. Would be a nice two watch collection.
BBB🔵🙂
I like yellow flag
Great review! I have never liked the date cyclops on Rolex. Well done Tudor for avoiding the horror bubble!
Thank you for the kind words reg the review! We're happy you like it 😎
blackbay 58 no contest :P
David Beckham is really an ideal brand ambassador - hasn't really won much in his career and he won't be ennobled in this lifetime. He just makes a lot of noise about nothing - an ideal face for what is definitely the second best watch. Does the watch come with a pack of hair wax?
Oh please Tudor is the poor man's Rolex.
Maybe you want to join the discussion below ?! :)
Tudor is NOT the poor man’s Rolex. Have you ever seen and tried on a Tudor Snowflake or Tudor Submariner? This is coming from a collector with Seiko’s, IWC’s, Jaeger LeCoultre’s, Tudor’s, Patek‘s and Rolex’s in my collection. Snobbery is ugly and shouldn’t play any part in horology.
@@garysmith1477 many times why would I want the little brother to anything. Hell Tudor shares movements with Breitling. I love Breitling but I don't consider either horology. So calm down.
Good I’m poor so I’m glad I have one.
