- I take a look at the history of the Tudor watch brand, as well as give you my recommendations of Tudors best watches. The Tudor brand has some cracking good watches but there are a few that are absolutely bollocks that only Hublot would be proud of.

What’s the next brand you want to see?
Tell us ur least faverte watches 😂it can't all just be hublot
zenith
Zenith!! Would love to see the open heart El Primero
Hublot
Hublot 😂
You should do one on Hublot, origin and why the hate 😂😂😂😂.
As the Pheonix was born from fire Hublot was born from shit, literal shit, the hate comes from it being a Hublot, thats all mate
If I'm not mistaken there's a video on the channel called "Why I hate Hublot" but it was too long for me to watch in one go.
i am dead LOL!
Bcs its founded in 1980 and they sell watches for 10k€ while they actually worth around 2k...
@@seriousone44 2k? You're overestimating their value mate, its not just that tho
When I worked for Goldsmiths there was an old guy there who was 1 of the Rolex team. He wore a Tudor 79260 I asked him why not a Rolex he said “everybody knows Rolex, people who know Rolex know Tudor” and so began my fascination into watches and understanding the difference between customers and enthusiasts.
I equate Tudor to the scene in Gone in 60 Seconds where Nicolas Cage was talking about too many self indulgent wieners and eventually they get to Eleanor, “you wouldn’t be self indulgent sir, you’d be a connoisseur.”
@@ml6008 I call my seamaster 300m pro white dial buy this name
Work for them now and I've discovered so much about the industry, I can't complain about the job.
underrated comment
@@catfancy1708 Another great watch that would be appreciated by the truly initiated.
Love the camera work and editing
Yeah, love the change of focus from Nico to the watches. Also, kudos to Nico for finally doing another non-reaction video.
Fact’s no Cap mate 🤟🏻
Interesting to note, Rolex is registered as a Charity under the Wilsdorf Foundation as a Non-Profit; part of the reason why they are able to receive massive Tax-Cuts.
What kind of charity do they do? Monthly donations of Viagra for their customers?
@@Alias_Anybody Point I was making is this, if you ever want to piss off a Rolex owner. Tell them they got their watch from a charity. However, technically I do believe Rolex is registered as a Non Profit to avoid paying larger sums of Taxes; the foundation being Privately held prevents auditors from regulating them to a severe extent. The nature of being a Swiss Business, much like Swiss Bank - Privacy of the utmost levels. Who knows what they do, apart from sponsoring Sports events.
Wow
You can do even more crazy stuff in Switzerland. You can build a Club, for instance a sportsclub or self-development club and this Club will not have to pay taxes at all. For instance FIFA is one of them. However, in Switzerland you pay income Tax. Your company is usually taxed very, very low = but when you get your paycheck.... Ok, to be honest, it’s still very low. Usually between 8% to around 35% of your income. However, if you would pay more then 1 Million in Taxes annually in Person you can always negotiate with the tax office about other forms of payment.
@@Alias_Anybody The Hans Wilsdorf Foundation actually does amazing work and continues the legacy of the man himself. It supplies scholarships for education and provides social assistance to those in switzerland (mainly). If anything this is an example of a company that is run as the flagship of national identity, for the people.
Not saying i would give it all away if i owned it, but an honorable thing to do!
Didn't used to like watches, now I'm really into them. This style of video is sick
Welcome to the life my friend. Say goodbye to your wallet
There is a little bit of AC3 in him.
@@InsAnItYschild101 I have my wallet but it is empty now.
Amazing production quality.. seeing how far you've come in such a short time is amazing. The lighting.. camera work.. editing all of it fantastic
I absolutely love this format. Please do these for all watch brands. So badass.
This video is amazing! I am actually impressed by everything, the editors are really good. Overall best Tudor review like Nico would say: “The dogs bollocks”; keep it up with this quality content! 🔥🔥🔥
the way he sounded so professional at the start and then he started talking shit of the last three watches in such a short time had me so dead 🤣🤣🤣
I love this format. Not just entertainment bit also informative. Good Stuff Nico&Co 💯💯💯
The production quality of these videos is incredible. Well done guys
the editing has me dead (Grindr)!! I like this change up in the content where it is more educational, thank you Nico and team for this great video. I hope you have more of these (including your usual stuff)
Would love to see you reacting to the "Talking Watches with John Mayer" episodes. Think it would be a great video for yourself as a fan of Rolex's.
Awesome video, top-tier production quality. Would love to see more watch brand guides!
Watched the video even before your story on insta. Great stuff. Loved the new style! Yes, please, make it as a series! Also, the editing... Absolutely bolocks! Well done editor 1 and 2!
Dear Nico, as always, fantastic review and thanks for it. Today I was very interested on the GMT, and becoming aware of your thoughts on it reafirmed me how much this is a Value Vs Money marvel of watchmaking......... The best regards from Colombia in South America.
PD: Thanks for cheering us up so much with your fantastic attitude. Your channel has become a great cure for lockdowns.
It is something monotonous that they always talk about the same watches "Rolex, Cassio and, yes, Hublo", it is refreshing for me to look at another type of watch brand I hope and you continue producing more videos like this to know more about watches
Yeap there is a lot more interesting watch history out there outside of the 5 pointed crown.
Absolutely love this new video! Need more like this one. Please keep them coming!
Thanks for dropping knowledge! love the editing!
Absolutely love the new style of video Nico. Really informative, whilst maintaining your classic descriptions and personality. Definitely make this into a series! Also I understand your audience is probably American based but I feel including the valuations in euro would be great for us Irish and europeans!
So I was thinking about getting a Black Bay GMT but was a bit skeptical. Thank you Nico for the assurance
This is one of my favorite CZcams channels now! Keep up the good work!
DUDE I LOVE THE PRODUCTION ON THIS MUCH LOVE NICOO KEEP AT IT FAM
My Tudor Style got scared when Nico started talking about the ones he hates
Me too mate...
Me too...
So did my North Flag
@@Em-nf3nt Hah, hah. I love my North Flag* on a bracelet but it's definitely a marmite watch. *It's the first watch I've owned with a power reserve indicator and I'm surprised at how much I look at it - gotta keep it wound up!
“It’s not about girls” grinder logo XD
your videos have been top notch lately!!! well done!! and of coarse the editing team!
Wanted a video about Tudor for a long time, but never expected it to come from you!
Definitely keep doing these specific brand “history” lessons by Niko. 👏
Been waiting for a video like this from you Nico, Loved it!!!!
Just started my "real" watch collection with the God status in the mighty G-shock.....
Would love to see a series on this as their are so many different types I was a little overwhelmed.
Love you work as always mate!!!!
I really like these types of videos from you, please keep this going!
Yesss. More of these kind of videos. They are super informative and entertaining
The Black Bay 58 was my first real introduction to the watch world.... Today. I commemorated a trip with my son to Paris and picked up the Blue 58, which I have wanted since 2021. I would love to have a date, but I'm also just so glad to have finally pulled the trigger on something I can hand down to my son. I'm a huge fan of Nico and have been researching and waiting for years to get my first watch and today was the day. I made $4k on Monday from a trade that had I not executed would have been gone. I was already looking at Tudor ADs here in Paris when Monday I woke up to a massive jump in stock price and I said, I'm taking profit. The amount I cleared was just enough to buy the watch and pocket another $1k. Very nice, I shared this moment with my son, he learned a bit about investing and not that this watch is an investment because it is not, but I definitely think it will hold its sentimental value and I hope to give it to him when he turns 18. And he loves it.
THANK YOU FOR RECOMMENDING THE BB STEEL! It absolutely deserves more love! Proud owner here!
Same. Love the Tudor steel BB.
I’m a proud owner of the leather version. I think the brown goes well with the bezel. However I will be getting the steel bracelet at some point so I have both options.
i recently found out about your channel, and now im binge watching the hell outta it!
Great video idea thankyou soo much! Looks clean as well nice editing boys
My question: how in the world are there 34 comments with only 9 views.
Nicos Answer: the Casio and Rolex gods have blessed the comments
I have a few watches in my collection that don’t get enough fanfare....
Glashutte, Zenith, Ulysse Nardin are all excellent watches and they fly under the snob radar.
Granted I love my Rolex 16610 and my Omega Seamaster PO but maybe showcasing lesser known brands could be interesting 🧐
This video is so interesting, thanks Nico!
All love from the Netherlands!
Nice video Nico! I love to see variety of videos on this channel your personality makes everything more fun and I am much more attentive! Keek it up! Maybe for next video TIssot?
I have the Pelagos lhd that I wear more then my sub. I also gifted my 58 to my brother. I miss it but I know he will wear it everyday.
Phill Como that's the one I'm thinking about..would you as a person who uses it recommend the lhd?
More like this, maybe rotate between high mid and low range brands.
I expect Casio next
Nice production values and Nico, you are always a compelling screen presence. Cannot wait for Casio, Thanks!
Great video very informative and definitely entertaining for sure love it man. Planning on purchasing my first Tudor time piece soon.
The cinematography, dude 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
this makes me want to buy a Tudor
Yeah, it was a great review who knows maybe in the not so distant future Tudor will hook him up as an authorised dealer
Thoughts on the Tudor royal because personally I love it
Love the style of this video, wish you'd do more of these.
This video is Absolutely class well done Nico and team 👏🏼💪🏼
I love my 79730. I feel like it doesn’t get enough recognition. It’s just so functional and still had the right looks!
Totally agree. I love mine. I think it’s the best Black Bay available.
Just ordered my tudor glamour date/day i was literally shaking when he was about to mention tudor watches he hates lol
This new 2 angles video with more editing and serious music is soooo good
I came here since I'm buying a Tudor soon & wanted to see what Nico had to say & boy it really showed me how much Nico's CZcams channel has massively grown & improved! Especially if you compare his latest upload video editing style, personality & comfortability on camera today compared to 2 years ago. Well done Nico, let her have it!
Peasants: “Tudor”
Intellectuals: “Chudor”
Okay ciao
The Blackbay GMT is the watch that my grandad had but got lost after he passed away, and ive made it my goal to get one as a reminder to a great man in my life
Love this new format of video!!!! Nice job guys. Next video could be on more affordable but quality watches like Seiko? Tissot ? Thanks
😂 first video I’ve watched of yours Nico and gotta say it cracked me up. Very informative and my kinda banter. Subscribed!!!
Tudor Pelagos: allow me to introduce myself
You didn’t mention if you like or hate the most popular Tudor watch: Tudor black bay blue.
Your vids great start on the weekend.. 👍
Mate I freaking love your clips!!! Keep up the awesome work. Honestly I don’t have a luxury watch yet but saving like crazy for a G-shock hahah
In another dimension: Hublot Watch guide
I reckon Nico got his principles even in another dimension, a Hublot still a Hublot no matter of galaxy
Wtf I’ve literally just put my Rolex up for sale to buy a Tudor. One minute later you drop this...
Tudor QC is terrible last year's... Loads of inconsistencys and lume problems.
@@HRM.H 34mm Rolex is too small though..I need something bigger!
Tudor M76213-0012
@@matthewtanner5808 I ended up buying a 34mm Tudor Prince Oysterdate after looking for a Datejust, Honestly, the quality of the case / finishing is identical.
If it wasn't for the bracelet and the logo, they'd be indistinguishable.
Its kind of crazy that you can pick them up for well under £2k atm while an equivalent datejust will run you 3-6 times that.
@@fliptoe1990 they’re cool watches! And you can get the model you want, not just the only one you can afford!
This video is well put together from the lighting to the soundtrack playing in the back to everything else.
Love the style of your vids Nico....funny, opinionated, concise and exhaustive. And rare for watch videos.....some actual passion instead of the usual mediation app voice. Subbd!
I would love to see Tissot, great history and my first ever “nice” watch was a Tissot for my 21st
He just talks loud while actually saying nothing. I bet he doesn’t even own a Tudor and no pelagos mention? Which is by far the brands best watch.
We need more videos like this one Nico. Informative, very well-produced, and funny. You even look half decent in this video son #nofatshaming
Can you make your content accessible by formatting the auto captioning to closed captioning please? I am Profoundly Deaf and it very hard to enjoy your content having to rely only on the dreaded auto captioning that for lack of a better word; shit.
Edward, i will look into this for you. No idea how to get it done but hopefully we’ll sort this soon enough. Thank you for your support.
Why are you shouting?
Was wondering the same
Pro tip.... Turn your volume down a tad and he's no longer shouting. Now, he's softly caressing you with his enthusiasm.
Woah this was a sweet video. I like where these new videos are going
Your really got me out of my funk during this pandemic! Thanks for everything you do!!
Love your videos m8. Am at the end of my witing list for the gmt one. Cant wait to put it on
Nico + sick editing = time well spent on youtube😁
Thx for making me feel better because I am sick and this is the best part of my day so thx
Love this watch centered content! More of this please!
SUPERB VIDEO, enjoyed it mate, very nice!
really enjoy this type of videos
The editing is insane🔥
Love this format, it's better & more informative than the reactions. (although i like those too)
really liked this kind of video, keep it going
I just got myself a Black bay heritage s&g on the worn leather strap and I love it, from the contrast of the gold to steel and again to the black dial, it's truly beautiful. A lovely addition to my growing collection.
This editing style is awesome 🔥
I’ve been waiting for this!
The boys playing around with some new lighting, you love to see it!
Nice video living this style and tunes mate. go for more
Holy production value and quality. This is unbelievable guys.
Nico always has me rolling thanks mate!!!!
Need more videos like this . Love it
Absolutely love the animation on this, actually looks so professional
And the editing as well, can’t let that go under the radar
This style of video is so high quality - big up the boys
Great video as always Nico. My BB58 is a great everyday tool watch!
You should do more of this kind of videos. Dont get me wrong nico... I love your reaction videos. But this kind of video really sets you up on a more calm and professional level of seller it seems. :)
Love your video nico. Recently i just grab a pre-owned tudor blackbay steel with date. Love it and great value for money.
Damn.... i like this new format.....
Quality mate!
Always loved Tudor, owned a 79260 Tiger with Panda dial. Excellent video as always mate! Slainte!
Just picked up a 79730, super happy to see how well you speak of it.
