Checked ur page out for the fox body seen ur truck and got super hyped I have a 54 Chevy 5 window got it from my grandpa. Dope ass build u got real motivation 💯💪🏽
That’s bad ass man ! Those trucks are pretty hard to find now and super expensive. Thanks for watching the videos man if you enjoyed don’t forget to subscribe 🦾🙏🏻
A million times better , stock rack is just very floaty, it’s too much assist in my opinion , the gt rack is a little harder to steer but in my opinion feels better
My brother replaced the perfectly fine GT rack on his 1992 LX with a SN95 GT rack with all new parts and honestly neither he or I can feel any difference. Waste of time & money.
@@Danny_rodsI checked with my brother and he said he chose the best available rack recommended by Maximum Motorsports, as they rated them in order of preference. It was a few years ago but I believe it was actually from a low mileage parted out new edge GT and we had confirmed that from the rack's part number. The Cobra R had the ultimate rack but about impossible to find.
In my opinion it’s a lot better , you have less assist so it’s stiffer steering but more precise , the stock foxbody rack feels very floaty and it’s hard to feel where the wheels are at, almost like you’re driving a boat or something , with this one you feel a lot more of the road
@@Danny_rods cool that’s what I’m looking for. I put a foxbody rack in my 88 thunderbird thinking it would be an “upgrade” but it feels the same. Extremely light especially at high speeds, does not feel safe lol. Thanks for the video and feedback! Ima get me a 04 GT rack.

Can you source the steering shaft off of sn95 car?
Do you have to bleed the power steering system when swapping out the rack and pinion

Yeah you guys got the wrong one man , needs to be one from a new edge mustang not an sn95

@@Danny_rodsHe checked his Ebay history and the rack was listed as for a 2002‐2004 GT.
how does the steering feel compared to stock?

Most noticeable at high speeds
