  • This XT4 is Cadillac’s entry-level compact crossover and it’s right-sized for the intended customer. I imagine that’s someone who prefers a luxe-oriented crossover with smaller form factor because they’re not hauling people or cargo often, if ever, and I can’t argue with that.

    I purchased a fully loaded XT4 sport ! Tri coat white , black leather interior , 20”wheels etc etc ..so far it’s truly a very impressive car .. been a fan of Cadillac since driving BMW’s for several years.. this is my 2nd Cadillac, had SRX previous to my XT4 ..I can say I think Cadillac know what they are doing ..push over expensive German cars any day !

    I just purchased one, I will say it is gorgeous , is it perfect of course not, but for the money , I felt I got more then a Lexus RX350 F sport, Room, looks etc hands down to the Cadillac. Life of the car , only time will tell, But I am happy with my choice. I got a fully loaded sport model white, black leather interior, 20in rims like you have in the video, vehicle is smoking. Thanks for your opinion, i'll look out for the issues you pointed out, but hopefully they will have a shut off button for the engine shut off that saves gas.

      I got over 4k off because I'm a retired first responder, but if your a student or you have a lease vehicle, the sales person was telling me that would add to the discount, I paid about $51k out the door, but my car has every major option they offer. Aka fully loaded, again very happy 😊

      Just to update you on my vehicle, so far the 360 degree camera isn't working right
      Waiting on a date for service to get a loaner car. My car as of now has 1500 miles, the only other problem seems to be, I've noticed it twice (my wife mostly drives the car) I thought the transmission was reving too high and the car wasn't picking up speed.
      But I hope these issues are easy fix.
      Still love the car, comfortable, ride
      Looks, I normally keep a car for many years and hope these issues are only my luck and it's smooth sailing from here.
      This my family first GM product since the late 70's, my father 1976 Oldsmobile custom cruiser statewagon and two 1978 Chevy chervettes ( father & oldest brother car) all three cars total garbage but that was back then.
      Fingers crossed 🤞 lololol Thanks again.

    Wifey wants to downsize to a GMC terrain, but we might go for this if we fit it into our budget.

    They have to have this to compete with Audi A5, Mercedes GLc and X3. I really want to know how it compares to new Lincoln Corsair. I like what Lincoln is doing much better than Caddy inside and out.

      @BrianMakse  Před 4 lety

      This is a Q3, X1 and little GL(whatever) competitor. They sell a good bit more in China than in the US, not surprisingly, plus it's made over there, as well.

    Interested in the XT4 but the Volvo XC40 keeps drawing my attention away. Have to make a decision later this year, it's tough.

    The braking and transmission and transmission constantly shifting was poor and you can tell the old "that will do" method was used here. Also the Rouge has a camera review mirror. Not a big ordeal anymore. The Volvo XC40 is such a better vehicle inside and out. Cadillac interiors, as alway, look dull and plasticy. Hate the whiney black plastic. Then there is that crazy but MSRP. No idea why you would buy this. Leave it over in China. I'm pretty sure every GM vehicle has a different angle take on the infotainment screen. Pick one.

    • @BrianMakse
      @BrianMakse  Před 4 lety

      I didn't mind this thing. Though, it's spendy to the point that I don't think it'll have wide appeal. We don't cover the Rouge on this channel, so I can't comment.

      Not made in China! Made in Kansas City! From mostly American parts!
