I love all the 3 interviews Bobbie had with Val Kilmer ♡ He was my ultimate crush when I was a child ^^ I hope more interviews with him will be uploaded in future ♡
It actually kinda pisses me off that this movie did not have sequels / series. Wonderful movie. Perfect lead to play the part; Val, Shue, exciting, fun/funny, action packed, etc, etc, etc. Didn't the movie do well at the box office?? Well then what TF's the problem!! This could have been like the Bourne series, tom cruise level sequels, James Bond level series, etc!
Val was simply black listed for being a so called difficult to work with (which turned out to be completely wrong.. He just cares alot about playing the role and not the money.. Watch the documentary val for more insight).. They attacked him and his movies even tho he still gave them his all
Hollywood did him DIRTY... :( and I agree with you.. it would've been great to have "The Saint" sequels! I watched this movie so many times since my childhood days and it is such an exciting movie, Val was FANTASTIC and he had a beautiful chemistry with Shue (finally a proper love story in an espionage/agent thriller). I am sure the sequels would've been very successful as well.
It makes me sad that the critics didn't give this film great reviews, but at the same time, I realize that they are wrong, and that makes me happy to know that. This film was wonderful and Val is a legend. Elisabeth Shue was great also.
I love this movie Val was such a genius apparently he created himself all the different men he plays to escape So sad he has a Cancer and cannot be in movies any more Last night there was on TV the documentary on his life I like Tombstone where he plays Doc Holliday so true and sad ending for the real Doc the perfect part for Val All my blessings to Val to recover from his illness he looked worse that I had enticipated🥰
He also had to sell his ranch from New Mexico according to the documentary his ex wife asked a lot of money from him Poor Val he was si attached to that ranch He sounds so relax during the interview A soothing voice🥰
Who’s here in 2024? ❤show some love.
I loved this movie. I wish that it had become a series.
