- Well, now, here's something really neat! Clive Carroll and Al Petteway crossed paths recently, and sat down for an impromptu jam at Dream Guitars! These two! The results are by turns beautiful and exciting, and always cool! Enjoy!

Every time I listen again to this performance its more beautiful each time as hear the nuances I missed before. This is just pure musically and talent, magic making my day. I agree with some other comments that you two should do a CD together it would be smash. Al its good to hear you play out of the Blue Grass field to show the strength of your talent! Man, that finish was pure ear candy. Thanks!

Is this a Fusion Style? It sounds familiar, but I can't find anything really close.
I don't know who these guys are but it kind of reminds me of Coryell/Catherine/McLaughlin acoustic stuff, sans the beautiful, stunning runs.
When tuning to DADGAD o you tune up or down?
You'll tune three strings DOWN and the other three stay the same: From Standard tuning, EADGBE, you're going to tune the low E down a whole step to D; the next 3 strings you come to stay the same... A, D, G; then the B string you'll tune down a whole step to A, and then drop the high E string down a whole step to D. Now you're in DADGAD! Enjoy.
