One of my favorite Clive Carrol tunes. Enjoyed his playing last night for a second time at a private venue. So gracious, witty and probably the most masterful guitarist I've ever seen. Whether his originals or covers his nuance, technique, speed and accuracy are astonishing. It was a privilege to see him again.
This is one of the most beautiful arrangements of music I've ever heard
such sensitivity and technicality. combining thousands of little complexities into a global, consistent and touching arrangement. simply brilliant. imagine being eliza! who would not fall for this.
I can imagine the feeling when he came on to this!!...the kind of thing you play all day until you get it right!!...
I love this guitarist ... saw him live in Armathwaite Cumbria ... and used a piece of his wonderful music at my husband's funeral ... great respect. Thank you Clive x
thank you TommyEmmanuel for sending me to this guy! amazing talent! what a beatiful song
you tube is a gold mine! I keep on discovering great talent!
I remember hearing this years ago and being absolutely blown away. Brilliant composition. Saw Clive in Shrewsbury a few years back, such an incredible guitarist!
a master of tone - therefore better see him live once in your life :)
Fantastic
Magic playing. 🤩👍
So versatile. Love this guy. Wife and I had the pleasure of seeing him three times now live.
Awesome original
One of the most extraordinary musicians alive today
I keep coming back to this video. The lyrical playing is extraordinary. The technical is dazzling but totally secondary to what is a beautiful piece of music
Just recently discovered this brilliant musician - his playing is on a whole different level!
I just got home from a wonderful concert put on by Clive Carroll tonight in Portland, Oregon. He is outstanding in person and had such a great rapport with the audience. What a virtuoso player!!
Magic song... I love it...
Beautiful piece, Clive. First time that CZcams brings me this video. Thanks!
Saw Clive last night, (at T Street Live, Carlow, Ireland) ... An outstandingly brilliant night of guitar music.

Haunting.
I love this tune a lot.
absolutely great - my favorite song!
Wow he makes an acoustic guitar actuallly sound good through a p.a!!!
Also, this sounds like a 80s pop rock song
Gorgeous!
Brilliant

Bravvissimo
Spirited
i dont understand why he's barring strings 5 and 6 if he's only hitting string 6 for the repeated base
Hey Clive, I've got a Bown to pick with you!
Like a refined Bron-Yr-Aur. Nice.
Any one know the tuning
whats the song on the end?
Unpriceable
Isn't he brilliant.
I guess we've lost the true sound of the acoustic guitar forever. These plugged-in monsters are almost a different instrument. And, what amazes me is that nobody, fans or players, seem to mind.
musik102 Because we are all open minded when it comes music which is what we came for. Unlike you, we didn’t come for a specific sound and put our mental set on it. What I mind is people like you who complain when they hear beautiful music because it’s the that one specific sound they think is “the true sound of the acoustic guitar”. That makes no sense whatsoever. There is no such thing as a true sound. Being plugged-in isn’t less “true”that not being plugged in. Truly enough, every acoustic player would agree with music. I think you’re missing the point of music, you should spend time thinking about it more. Have a good day.
@@julienetienne1399 Oh dear. Another deaf idiot.
musik102 I completely destroyed your nonsensical argument. All you can do is insult me now. I’ve clearly won the debate.
@@julienetienne1399 The only thing you've won is the "cloth ear" contest.
No idea what you mean -- if we were to unplug the guitar, he could still play that exact same piece. That is how he would play it for a small group in a small room. All the "plugged-in" aspect does is allow the audience to hear it better, by running it through a PA system -- what the guitar is doing is still the same. Are you also morally opposed to putting a mic in front of a guitar, to allow the audience to hear better?
