The entire prison sequence was absolutely flawless. The yard scene where he got surrounded and just went beast mode was the best few minutes of action I've seen in a while from this genre.

Huge respect to the director Sam Hargrave on outdoing himself again... Huge love to all the crew and actors Hemsworth and Golshifteh are such a great combo. Extraction movies deserve to be on the Big Screens

Having watched this movie I must say it’s brilliant. The standout actor for me here are the brother's Uncle.
He didn’t fight with a gun actually, but his words of counsel were breathtaking. A sad moment was when he stated that “he always knew he was going to die by a bullet someday, but not from his own brother’s son”. Now he knew he had been on the left side of God's will but that didn’t stop him from saying what he thought of his end. A man that’s true to himself and another man who is swallowed by RAGE… but like the day pride goes before the fall.

It's already overkill from just the trailer. Reminds me of the drone shots from The Gray Man. Watch the Russos catch an L with this one. The cinematography feels forced.

Sam Hargrave should get his name front and center in this trailer. Such an incredible talent. The fight choreography and the fluid camera movement to help emphasize the action is just top notch. Also if Netflix still plans on making The Division movie. Maybe hand it over too Sam.
The Division will be made by John Wick director David Leitch but he worked with Sam a lot on JW and Atomic Blonde so hopefully Sam can be involved

That entire action sequence from prison to the train is beyond beyond expectation fresh and awesome. this movie is an absolute treat to watch.
Love the part on the train where he climbs up on the roof of the loco and takes out the chopper with a minigun.
It really is truly breathtaking how good the people at the very top of their game have gotten at pulling off action movies these days. Sequence after sequence after sequence of incredibly well choreographed & perfectly executed stunt work. Reminded me of the best parts of the Uncharted (game) series in places - & to be clear - that’s a huge compliment. I love that we’ve gotten to the point where people can create that level of seamless frenetic energy in live action now. If action movies are your thing - this movie is 11/10. 👌

I love the part when Tyler Rake said, "It's Extractin' time," and extracted every corn videos from the zip file to the Reaper Team folder. Truly one of the best movies out there.

I love when he steps on the toy and the inmate whistles how it's one continuous shot until the train crashes. Felt like a game of call of duty using one camera.
The fight Nik has with the two soldiers on the train is EXACTLY how a fight between 2 dudes and a woman should go. Damn this movie was good.
That scene at 2:06 with the treadmill was brutal, and crazy camerawork. Just awesome.
The cut was when the guy hit the glass railing. Two shots but looks great anyways.

When Tyler died at the end of Extraction 1 you could feel the waste of potential, it was a great film and you wanted more. To see this, keeping Tyler alive and making what is hopefully a bigger and better film, is just brilliant.

John Wick (and Keanu) have had such an amazing, positive affect on the quality of action movies now. I admire how much work these actors put into the physicality of such incredible action sequences. Oh, and Chris' reason for being in Extraction 2? Rescuing kids. What else could be more important to him? This is going to be just grand!

I just started watching this movie this morning, and it does deserve to be on the big screen. I can't wait to finish it.
The long action sequences filmed on "one shot" similar to 1917 really added to the intensity. Loved this movie
I love what John Wick birthed 9 years ago. Extraction 1 rivaled that series for some of the best choreography around, and Chris Hemsworth is the action star I never knew we needed. Can’t say enough about how much I want this to be the next hit action franchise.

I am really happy to see that many actors are now being recognized in these unorthodox roles... (Hinting at the new batman)... And I'm really excited to see Chris join the party as a grueling and no-nonsense action figure...

@@JEX9000 It's just that a lot of the heavily marketed big-budget drivel sucks absolute balls. There's an overwhelming amount of mediocrity these days that people get hyped for that falls flat, which makes these smaller projects shine even more when we actually find them :D
The cameta work is nice. The choreography and fight scene logic as in the trailer is pretty bad (as is Wick's in 2 and 3), which is sad, because the first film was much better in that regard.
This series of movies is brilliant well done Netflix if you can keep up the quality I would gladly watch 3 more of these Extraction movies.....awesome entertainment.

Extraction 2 is an amazing action film. The fight scenes are incredible. Chris Hemsworth puts in another great performance.
Really liking the Nik and Tyler dynamic. And the short appearances by Idris Elba and Olga Kurylenko gave the proceedings some extra gusto! An exciting and nicely paced action thriller!
The cinematography and action choreography in these films are ELITE, to say the least. Netflix got blessed with this franchise. It could easily be on the big screens and make a killing at the box office.

The two elevator scenes shot and blew me away! In case you all missed it, the elevator doors saved him from a bullet to the head! Never knew that elevators can be used creatively apart from falling down or going up fast.

This is hands-down the best action-scene film I have seen all year. Lots of excellent choreography and cinematography and visually mindblowing single-shot film sequences during fights.
When an action sequel is even better than the original and you leave the movie very impressed and satisfied, then you are reminded why you love action in cinema.

This harnesses so much of the '80s, '90s and everything that anybody would want to see in an action flick in the acting, directing and producing! So overall, this is what we the people want to see in an absolute true original and yet modern (harnessing from the originals) action flick!! ... This is an absolutely freaking amazing film in its own genre! ... In fact, the Russo brothers have outdone the avengers movies! This trilogy definitely surpasses anything they've done beforehand!
The 80s was better, the special effects were at least practical and in my opinion looked better.
@@Blahmanwhysoserious Apart from a few standouts, most 80s action movies are pretty bad, especially the action. I was riding a nostalgia train for a bit, until I realized most of them are just people spinning in circles with guns, with poorly done special effects. Still, got to admit the standouts were fantastic.
@@Blahmanwhysoserious I feel like I can understand what you're trying to come from, but I feel like what we see in this plays pretty good homage to the '80s flicks with also being a modern flick, I mean like the 80s flicks did the best they could at the time with what they had and it's action. Looks like this that make up for what our technology just wasn't at at that time. If all of that makes sense. Again, I appreciate the 80s and at the same time realize we've moved on from there and so we can appreciate both the same time with where we're at right now.
Can thank Tom Cruise for reopening a forgotten market back up with Top Gun Maverick. Action movies are becoming an experience again rather than just something to watch to say you saw it.

*it made me in tears when watching this, we got nearly perfect CGI these days, but some guys, are still trying to get closer to the impossible in traditional ways, those long shots as you can imagine how many rehearsals they had to go through, a lot of preparations and calculations. respect*
Chris Hemsworth certainly is a brilliant actor. Extraction 2 already looks more thrilling and exciting compared to its predecessor.

This looks incredible. As in giving John Wick a run for its money incredible. I'm so happy they keep giving stuntmen opportunities to direct because what they come up with are lightyears beyond what regular action directors can do.

I am beyond excited for this film. The previous one was phenomenal and deserved all the love. Such a shame this won’t be in the cinemas but I’m glad that it will be with us soon.
It's crazy how this doesn't come out on cinemas... it deserves the big screen to appreciate it better!

Theaters are dying slowly, only about 6 people in the theater watching the Flash. It was even less for Transformers Rise of the Beasts.

Extraction was a masterpiece. Not just action wise but story and plot wise, this would've truly broken the limits if it was in the cinemas but it won't be :(
