I gotta say, this trailer has the best music yet. Whoever picks the music these trailers has very good taste.

I really hope we get a mention of koba in some sorta way he's just as important as ceaser was the way the world is in this movie is because of koba but i think they are gonna be like well proximus is the same species as him ans that's the only thing close we will get of em
If Caesar is still talked about then Koba has to be, they’re like Yin and Yang
I'm getting more and more excited for this movie and I've got a feeling this is going to be an incredible installment in the series.
Mr. Ball said on his Reddit page that he saw the Tim Burton film, and that he didn't hate it. So it makes sense that he would use a few of the things that worked in that film.

My theory on the line, “you choose a human over an ape” is that Noa is going to have to chose between saving Mae or Raka and he chooses Mae and that’s why Raka dies.
I don't think Raka will be present when Proximus Caesar says that line bc from all the TV spots and Trailers shown so far Raka doesn't seem to be there at all.
@@omokoyejoakinfenwa4453 i didn’t mean that proximus Cesar would be there when Raka dies, not like it would happen earlier and then he gets told about it.
I think mae is from a small village that survived somewhere without ever contracting the alz so probably everyone in her village might be able to , I also think she might know of something that could wipe out all the apes like a bomb or something like that

I’ve been extremely excited for this film and with each of your breakdown and prediction videos I get even more excited to see it.
I cannot wait for this damn movie!!!! noa and the eagle are really intriguing. But the director definitely puts clips together to make you think one thing but lead us to probably go in another total direction. THEY BETTER HONOR CAESAR!
I think about how Maurice talked about wanting time to be alone and how other orangutans chose to be away from the village in the books.
I have to imagine that Raka has similar feelings and enjoys spreading the "good word". He likely comes from a place where there's a less corrupted and/or more accurate understanding of Caesar.

I guessed Raka wasn't from Noa's village a long time ago. Otherwise, Noa wouldn't be asking about Caesar.
Honestly I thought it was just a given, I guess maybe I was wrong!
@@Ape-Nation educated guess, Raka is actually a missionary of sorts. I've said this before, but I'm pretty sure he comes from the Oasis. Plus, we don't see Raka in any of the footage that shows Noa's village
@@amorojaz27There are different clans, the clans all know about each other and certain ones interact with each other but Noa’s clan (The Eagle clan) doesn’t interact with any, they’re more secluded hence why Noa doesn’t know about Caesar
Awesome trailer review and breakdown, this and the IMAX trailer are my favourite trailers. I predict Mae may want to somehow bring peace between humans and Apes and stop Apes hunting humans. I predict Rocka is likely to die as he's in literally no shots in Proxemius Caesar's Kingdom!
I really am looking forward to this film. I am planning to see it at El Capitan. I am pretty sure they will have some kind of side show before the film is presented and displays in the lower level.

I want you to know that you are the reason I got into the planet of the apes franchise. The first Kingdom trailer got me interested but it was watching your break down of it and hearing your love for this series that really pushed me to watch it and I’m obsessed! I finished watching the prequel trilogy last night which was absolutely amazing and literally minutes ago i finished watching the original film. And it got me thinking about what’s in store for kingdom because you have Noa teaming up with a human and saying that apes and humans are stronger together and you also have proximus who wants to learn more about humans maybe even harness their technologies and yet in to og film all knowledge of past humans is suppressed. So I’m wondering if it’s the events of this upcoming trilogy that leads to the creation of the scrolls the apes in the o.g lived by, the suppression of human history, and a deep hatred of humans. I know if they ever remake the original film again it won’t be a one to one adaptation because of all the lore they’ve already built up with Cesar and everything they’re about to add with this movie so they might do away with the catholic coded religion of the o.g or expand upon on it in a really thought provoking nuanced way. I think a remake of the o.g film in line with the current films we’re getting would just be amazing but I’m also really excited just to see this society progress as the centuries go by. I’m just blown away by this series in general and can’t believe I’ve slept on it for so long so thank you again for getting me into it. I’ve got my advanced screening imax tickets for Kingdom and I can’t wait!
I cannot overstate how happy it makes me when someone tells me I got them into the series. These movies are really special to me, so any time I can share them with someone else and help grow the fanbase is amazing. Thanks for the kind words! And yes, I think the creation of the sacred scrolls and ape laws is something that could definitely be coming from this trilogy.

A theory I believe is mae is slaved to help proximus learn how to wield electricity and learn different technologies. My fun theory is that that place proximus is trying to get into is some sort of nuclear silo which proximus learned about and is trying to harness the power of it. Anyways great video CANT wait for you review on kingdom.
That's a strong possibility. The question is, why would Caesar need the bomb. He can't conquer a radioactive wasteland. And as far as I can tell, the apes don't have radios, so he can't make threats. Plus, I doubt other apes would believe in a nuclear bomb.

I heard that noa is going to be 5.11 feet tall and raka is the same height and proximus is going to be 6.6 feet tall

There’s no way, I’d say Proximus is 5ft10 and noa is 5ft8 Raka is 5ft11, if Proximus is 6ft6 he would be taller than Luca and it would mean Silva is like 7ft-7ft3 which is ridiculous
They may be incorporating the actors’ heights, Andy Serkis isn’t a large person, but Kevin Durand is 6’5, Owen Teague is 5’11

Literally the next shot there are other characters with the new character Sylva that have mostly different but similar masks more covering their entire face Instead of the helmet we saw.

I bought my tickets for Wednesday! My theory is Nova is apart of some group of humans who hid away and never caught the flu. Maybe on a secluded island or something
I have two crazy theories about what Caesar is going to find.
1. He finds a nuclear missile. Unfortunately for him, there was no one to maintain the thing. So reality kicks Caesar in the groin, as without maintenance, it's relatively harmless after 300 years.
2. He finds a spaceship instead of a nuclear missile. While this is cool, it's not the weapon of war Caesar wants.
Either way, Caesar throws a tantrum and strands Noa in the silo.
This is where it gets really crazy. Noa finds that these things can still fly. So he gets them working and flies out of there to beat Caesar to his Fortress. I know the missile is the really crazy idea.
18:00 the actress hinted at it, so I guess they are or will be
I love history, but don't know too much about the bronze age. I'm assuming the reason Proximus is attacking Noa's village is either because he just wants to conquer and have more apes under his sway or they didn't agree to be a part of his kingdom. But I feel like in the Bronze age you would just attack and kidnap, but I'm not sure. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me sees this and replies lol But I can think of stories where one of those empires, I can't remember which one, probably a lot of them, would attack places and steal their Gods. Like statues and stuff. Probably women too. Possibly he's just wiping out competitors for civilization. Like he can't stand that an independent village exists. Crazy times lol But again, this is all off the top of my head from what I've learned in the past. Totally just guessing without any research about the details of a plot device that sends a hero on their journey and probably not that important to the story as a whole

We don't know much about Noa's father, though. He could be important somehow. I didn't think about that

The hand greeting between Noa and his father kind of reminds me of the scene in the Tim Burton film where Thade greets his father.
Koro dying isn't a spoiler. Parents often die to motivate the hero. Unfortunately, Raka is very likely going to die. I don't think he dies in the scene you mentioned. I do think he's going to be killed before Noa and Mae reach the fortress.
I'm praying Raka doesn’t die hopefully he just get seperated from Noa and Mae.
Something no one has discussed is Caesar's first name, Proximus. That's Latin, for "next" or "near". I doubt he was born with that name, so Caesar must have learned Latin somewhere. Probably from one of Raka's fellows.
I have a rather grim prediction that Noa is going to have a falling out with his friends because of his newfound loyalty to Mae.
That's a solid theory! I wouldn't want that to happen until the next movie though, we gotta love and care about the three of them as friends for a while first.
I'm super hyped for this but the only thing I don't like is the 300 years difference in between p3 and p4. I would've been happy with at least 100 years difference
When Noa's village is attacked; I have a feeling that his father's death scene is partially a misdirect. Just on the trailer. I have a feeling that Proximus Ceaser kills Noa's father. It would make the journey a lot more personal for Noa.
The Cinemacon footage was pretty clear that Koro is killed.

@@JAG96 rewatching the trailer, I see your point. However, the people who saw the footage stated that Noa buried his father before heading out. I know apes look alike to the average person, but surely Noa would recognize the ape he was burying isn't his father.
@amorojaz27 my friend, you're truly not understanding what I meant. I said the trailer may be doing a misdirect on WHO kills Noa's father. The trailer heavily implies the gorilla (im forgetting the name) kills Noa's father.
What I'm saying, the trailer could be fooling us. When in reality, Proximus Ceaser MAY be the one to kill Noa's father.
Similar to the trailer for Spider-Man No Way Home. The trailer showed only the MCU Peter leaping to fight the villains, when in the actual movie, it was all three Spider-Men leaping to fight the villians.
The trailer edited a crucial scene as to not spoil anything huge and in the actual film, the scene was different than the trailer.
That's what I'm saying here. I'm saying the trailer is showing the gorilla kill Noa's father or at least it's heavily implying he did.
Though in reality, the actual scene in the movie may be different than the trailer. The actual movie scene may show us that Proximus Ceaser kills Noa's father.
@@JAG96 so you're saying you think Proximus Caesar will personally lead the attack on Noa's village? Possible, but not likely. The clip showing him speaking to his apes appears to be shot in a way that this is his first onscreen appearance. Noa meeting him sooner would diminish the impact of the scene.
You didn't mention how it looks like Mae is in Noa's village when Caesar's apes raid it. So they're either attacking because they know she's there, or they don't know, and make her a priority once they learn about her.

MAN do I really hope they go all out and reveal the human character (May is it?) to be an astronaut from the mention back in RISE and she’s from 21st century that was lost in time and returned to a DUN DUN planet of the apes!

I have said this before but I think it bears repeating. I think Raka has a bit of a White Man's Burden Complex towards humans.
I think Mae / Nova is either an astronaut from our time who has been living in hiding for a while or the child of this film's version of Taylor & Nova living in secret & had the knowledge passed down to her.
The fact that she clearly knows enough to stay silent should be an indication that she isn't an astronaut. Plus, going off the TV spots, she knows a lot more about the world than a newcomer should know.
Problem with these movies is that every one is the same plot and story, being told over and over. How many more movies do we need to see about humans trying to outrun and survive apes? Same as the Jurassic franchise, but with dinos. It’s time to finally advance the story to somewhere new, with fresh and original ideas, instead of rehashing the same old movie, over and over and over again.
This is quite literally the only franchise that actually does something radically different with the story of every film, so tbh I don't know what you mean.
@@Ape-Nation and that’s totally fine. To each their own. To me, I only see subtle differences, minor details that are different, but the overall theme at its core, the story being told - it’s the same, every single time. I’m sure I’ll watch it once it’s out on streaming, but I genuinely hope you enjoy it in the theater :)
Considering this movie is before planet of the apes what do you expect we gotta get there first lol. Also this movie is different we haven’t had a movie like this in the franchise since Tim burtons remake in 2001z
@@Anthonycheesman33 I actually really enjoy the Tim Burton version. Never really understood all the hate it got. Practical effects and set pieces were fantastic, as was the story.
This trailer really made me a lot less excited for the movie. I think I'll still go watch but I'm disappointed, at a minimum it killed my theory. And if future installments deviate further and further from I guess the direction I'm hoping they take these movies, I may not hold interest. But at a minimum I'll still go this time.
Not sure why you'd be disappointed simply because a movie isn't following a theory you came up with, but you do you
@@Ape-Nation I get that you're defensive of the movie producers but this is excessive. I did not say I was not going to watch the movie. Or prejudge it to be a bad movie. I just said that it made me less interested, because it did. I have contemplated all the different storylines this movie could take, read all the fan theories. The theory I had was the one I found the most interesting. And the fan theory which it looks like they're going with I found substantially less interesting.

I think the cgi is as impressive as war cuz it’s in the day time while war was a lot at night time .
