    Thanks for the thorough video! Impressive one-hand work while you were holding the camera. I’ve got my parts and am about to do this same job.

    I have the 500 hundred Rubicon. Air inlet tube that runs into the box is on the otherside. Took me 6 hrs to clean that carb. Always loose them plastic clips that hold the panels on. Bought it last year . Last year as soon as you hit the start button it would crank immediately. Drained all gas. Cleaned carb. Hard to start the first time in 80 deg weather. Once it starts no more problems untill the next day. Driven me mad.lol

    Great instruction, I'm totally inspired to rebuild my foreman carburator. This is my first straight gas carburator rebuild. You are so confident in knew what you were doing and made it look like I can do it so here I am doing it. Anyway I got to the mix screw where you're supposed to count two and a half down and then take it out or see how it is 2 and a half or whatever anyways it is a special adjustment tool so I believe that my chainsaw my Husqvarna adjustment tool might work.

      Thank you for the kind words. It’s not hard at all just might be daunting at first if you have never done it. For the adjustment screw, You can also use just a flat blade screwdriver. I don’t have any special tools. Just be sure to note where everything goes and how many turns out the mixture screw is and you should be good to go. Good luck with rebuilding it. I hope it runs as good as mine did when I was done.

    Watched video & took notes. You did a good thorough job explaining how to rebuild the Carb. Carb float stuck open on mine, pouring gas.

      Have you tried to close it by tapping the carb base with a screwdriver or small hammer?

      @@ancilhall2933 ok great! Good luck! Tilts super easy if you have any doubts, just take pictures as you go and make sure to count the turns on the idle mixture screw from fully seated when you take it all apart to clean.

    I believe that electric line coming off of it is the carb warmer I completely sure of that cuz I know it has manual choke so it don't need electric hook and manual Chuck but I believe it's listed as the carb warmer once again I can be completely wrong but this is what we're here to do share information that's the way I understand it but I can be wrong and a fam disregard it as another idiot on CZcams that would be me LOL

    • @BackyardGarage1
      @BackyardGarage1  Před rokem

      You would be correct on that! I had to check it out as it’s got the manual choke. But thanks for sharing! I learn something new every day. 😊
