This bike is a killer Street fighter bike...I found only two negatives.
1) Abs:- Dual Channel abs is a must need. Whereas it has single channel abs.
2)One more gear:- Tvs should've given 6th gear. I can feel the engine's telling me that I wanna go more....I want more... I want to run more....
But the lack of 6th gear is restricting the engine from doing so.
3) As an owner my honest recommendation:-
Overall I would not recommend this bike for a beginner..
Because beginner riders will switch to sport mode for fun and will try rush it further their limitations...
Which will only cause death...or injury or an fatal accident.
In my opinion it's not a beginner bike.... The machine is a killer...
And you will feel the RTR technology whenever you'll drive it...or ride it...
The racing throttle response is not a bluff or a fake advertising... It's real.
In our West Bengal many people have injured themselves by driving this bike...cause they underestimate the power of this bike and try to show their macho-ness by riding it aggressively....
Where they have no idea that they are riding a suicide machine which cannot be underestimated.
So yeah don't be like them...if you're a beginner then go for TVS Raider which is still punchy but less punchier than the apache....
And if you've brought TVS apache by mistake...then keep it....but drive on urban mode for atleast 4-5 months get your hands steady, know your bike, feel your bike.
Then switch to sports mode

Rain for beginners is a 90...but urban for beginners is hundred... I mean must needed.

I own rtr 4v special edition. Only one negative i faced if its front braking. I need to pull it harder to stop the bike.
Never faced any issues with service center.
My height is 5.5 this bike is perfect match for my height.
Bought this machine last month here are few positives and negatives:
1) good performance, the engine likes to rev and it the bike also feels most comfortable at 70- 80 crusing.
2) the looks, they are good
3) sound of e20 varient is very basy.
4) the body is very simple in terms of components this i think will result in cheaper replacements.
5) tires i think are good, they do look skinny especially the front one but till now i havent had any bad skidding issues they are really grippy, also being 4v 160cc this bike pull good milage depending how you ride it (i have gotten 42 not even first service done)
6) the bike is well protected from factory my friends bike fell over and it only scrached the handle bar and engine guard.
Negatives :
1)Breaking: the tvs calipers are not good too many people having issues with them. Mine already started making screeching noise, wipe disk with IPA periodically and get brake pads cleaned with low grit sandpaper.
2) chain noise : its problem with most bikes in this price point be it n160, fz, or this one just clean and lube it periodically.
I dont know if this is the problem with my bike or what but it doesn't have lower chain guide so at low speeds chain bounces a bit.
3) Turing radius: its kind of good and bad at the same time. Taking u turns is a nightmare. But also if you get in sticky situating your front wont skid due to high turning radius. Also bike pushes you to lean it a bit while turning.
4) gear shifts are bit hard on my bike (first service not done ), my friends bike feels smoother he has done 10k on his bike.
No bike is perfect you need to get used to it.

I am thinking of buying rtr160 4v and took a test ride also.. but I'm confused between n160 or rtr 160 4v which one to buy.. n160 is also good but in terms of looks and power I just love rtr🤗❤Your points helped a lot, but can you tell if apache is worth buying?
@@pinoqio8868 Check what price you are getting it at I got mine for 1.56 which was cheap and same as n160. If you want pillion comfort then go with apache 160 4v, it's not an issue then go with top variant n160.
Take test rides for both for good 20 minutes and then decide.
Also my height is 5 feet 8 and on 4v any ride above 50kms gets heavy on wrist. Also for e20 model of 4v they have increased seat height a bit.

I bought one , last month , i can agree with all the points u said . One more drawback i would like to add is tht , we do get false neutral sometimes , Turing radius is alot for a naked bike , its nearly same as r15

yes man, at times i do feel like this bike didnt got proper tire treatment. compared to what we get on Ntorq that thing with 110 rear makes it look chunky and 100 on front is good for the scooter but same cannot be said for the bike. 90/90 is what you get on commuter scooters like activa and jupiter. at least a 100/80 style of tyres should be on front. also rtr 180 2v got some real good cosmetic upgrades. headlamp and taillamp looks real good. also i would like to contradict myself, ek snippet of video dekha tha jisme tvs 160 class race me i think front and rear me 90 section ke tire ka use kar rahi thi. man that looked awful from the rear but wo racers mast corner kar rahe the. still i would love to see 100/80 front and 140/70 rear for the nomal road riders.

So far so good.. been 2 years since I bought it... regular servicing and ma8ntainance keeps it in good health... I do however don't like the buzzy nature of it sometimes.... and as mentioned..... brakes and skinny tyres are a bummer too

Major problem in Rtr 4v is the front tyre is so skinny TVS can easily provide 100 section tyre rather than 90 section tyre 😊

I really don't like how Tvs is providing the same 90 section front tier in the RTR160 2v as well as same in the 160 4v & 200 4v meanwhile companies like Yamaha is even providing 100 section front & 140 section rear in its 150cc segments.

Engine vibration issue is still there. I bought this bike 6 months ago. Smooth ride as we get in Yamaha or Suzuki bikes is something missing here. Rest all the things in bike are good.

TVS mat lena meri apache 160 4v kharab kar diya bilkul ghatiya service hai engine oil leakage problem, chain se awaz(sprocket badalne ke baad bhi), low bike pickup, parts replaced with other bikes parts. pls dont buy tvs.
also service person fighting with me when i tell him the issues. he saying that he knows more than me he will do what is necessary. worst service. i will never buy tvs again in my life

We use TVS Apache for few years, and performance is awesome 🔥. Here we gets some good service stations.

Its been 2 years I am using this bike.
Cons: service centre is really bad... They don't know how to update the software also. They don't know how to manage and service a spot bike.
After 1st free service,I have not used rest 5-6 free service.
I prefer to go to local mechanic or do the service myself.
2) break is not good for both front and rear and front tyre always gets jammed.
3) engine noise after 5000 km
4) Paint chipping from engine,break callippers and alloy wheels.
5) no led indicators
I got this bike last month
My negatives
1. Head light can be more powerful compared to n160
2. No dual channel abs..most of the times you won't notice
3. No Distance to empty indicator ( even raider gets it😢 )
4. Milage is around 40 in Urban mode... Present I'm unemployed so not daring to ride on sports mode 😅

I have been using this bike since 2 years ,,,I have been facing Starting problem, frequently Alarms glowing like ABS, Engine and Mode Errors ,,, till now not solved... My Humble suggestion is go for Bike which are low Faults, Durable and kick start..

The drawback of rtr 160 4v is it is not comfortable for tall people and because of its sporty dimensions, leg feels cramped and too much pressure on your hands in long rides. Also, such thin tires is not good for bike stability and safety

. sidha baat maat lo .... 30 ka milage deta hai city me 160cc😂 .... 122-125 se upar gya hi nhi.... na power na milage.... bas tvs ka jhunjhuna.... maintenance bhi bahut hai ... paint quality to 1 no ghatiya hai.....tyre to lag rha mithai vala rubber se bna hoga.... itna slippery hai... bass log isko dekha dekhi me le leta hai.... includes me...😅kuchh kharab hua to service centre ki bas me nhi hai thik karna.. .gari lene ke khuch din baad hi handle se aavaj aane lag gya.... abhi tak sahi nhi hua.... 5months ho gya....
spare part to hamesha order karna parega.... ek showroom me nhi hai matlab kahi nhi hai.... ek drain bolt washer ke liye 3 showroom gye fir bhi nhi mila....😑hoga bhi nhi dega haramkhor sab...

Just completed first servicing and attempted top speed. Reached 117 and then the speedometer started declining coming to 116,115,114. The servicing guy said that's the max this bike goes and 117 is the exact number in the spec sheet but I've seen CZcamsrs achieve atleast 125+. Help?
They probably have changed the air filter to freeflow filter that helps in the top speed and on higher rev but can affect the overall mileage

For family ,milega, u can consider fz . U can consider 1604v but slightly low mileage 40/45 kmpl and fast acceleration. Fz-45/50 kmpl low pickup
