I think this is my favourite Headmaster from this wave.

Me too. I don't normally keep boxes, but I may make an exception here.
I had the original G1 version in my younger days. He was one of the last I sold off. I always liked the gimmick when you put the head in and lowered the chest piece you got a partial tech spec. Kinda wish they'd have brought that back for the nostalgia. I bought a knockoff of Mindwipe. Very oversized wings and hard to transform. Mine actually came apart. I threw it back in the box. The weapons I'll take out later. Maybe I'll try to reassemble. IDK.
I miss that tech specs feature too.
He is super cool, I really like his bat head and his over all color scheme. Probably the best Decepticon Headmaster.

You made no mention of rubber in this review. Are the wings still cast in the same floppy rubber material?

Never got the original TR version. Mostly for the ankle issues but also for the perma-A-stance. The stance is still here but the head sculpt and deep purple paint..... ugh I want it. DX
My only gripe about this figure is that he doesn't come with two shotguns like one of the 3rd party Mindwipe toys!

I just got the whole set, went into Walmart and they were there! And only one of each, may leave them in the box.

Just found mine at Walmart and noticed from watching this review that someone had swapped entire figure with the original and returned the figure.
Oh, man! I hate people that do that! Hopefully Walmart can replace it for you.

The rest at the store were all Wave 2
Some stores, like my local Walmart, tend to lag behind on stock. There may be one with Mindwipe in the area. My store just restocked Kingdom wave 1 instead of, you know, anything useful.
Went to walmart today on my lunch. Only saw hardhead just 1 of him. Exclusives are pain in the ass. People come in at open and wipe out the inventory typically. I'm only interested in Mindwipe right now, and maybe weirdwolf and skullcruncher if released later. Or were they already? I'm confused.
Mindwipe is the only Con released in the first wave. Weirdwolf and Skullcruncher will be in wave 2 alongside Highbrow.

He's a lot tighter than the Titans Return version. I wouldn't mind his ankles being a little tighter still though.

I just picked him up today, he's great, although mine has several qc issues, a floppy shoulder and both hips are floppy, but it's still quite enjoyable
