I know this review is 3 years ago now but I’m about to grab this retro reissue tomorrow and I’m really excited since this does look really sweet. I can’t wait to have a feel for this mold for the first time.
It's a pretty dead on remake of the original. My only complaint is that I wish it came with two rifles like the old toy.

In all honesty, it's unlikely. I hardly do videos anymore. Life just gets in the way too much these days.

I really like the color differences and for me the one piece that changed was the black on the top of the legs. I always thought they looked like those tight little bicycle shorts.😆 This one I feel I would ike to pick up the most out of the wave that I regretted not getting back then. 🤖🔥
I really hope we get remolds of the Japanese exclusive Headmasters. Both Autobot and Decepticons.

Hardhead is the only reissue Headmaster to have both his "Headmasters" anime appearance & G1 cartoon appearance
Does it have mold degrading because I'm scared of getting this figure
The cannon sits a bit more loosely than before, but the joints are as tight as ever.

They sure added a lot of tampos. On the Legends version they have less tampos and the autobot logo is placed on the center of his chest
I think this version tops all the others. Even his headmaster partner has more paint.
I like the new Hardhead's Face and Colors better than the old Hardhead. But I also really like Quake.

Yeah, I really would have preferred G1 reissues of these guys.
Can the cannon and blaster use blast effects?
The cannon can have most blast effects plug into the 5mm hole on the end, but I don't think the blaster is compatible.
