Funny enough, I'm normally a toy accuracy guy, but his cartoon model just looks so much better than the G1 toy.

Good to see you again fella! With eagle chest, the gun handle is not the tail. He has a proper tail that should be flipped out. Much larger!

I have no complaints with this guy, didn’t even notice the mushroom peg till you pointed it out… I personally don’t like the silver/chrome paint, it’ll rub off, I’ve see so many chipped or damaged Victory Sabers 😭. He’s just so glorious, I have him on his throne in the middle of my Decepticon shelf. I’d love if you posted again! Thanks for the review!!!

I get it man..I understand why you took a break. There are things I do that sometimes when I step away..I ask myself why in the heck and I'm spending time doing this..lol. But if I do get some enjoyment from it..I do atleast see if I can see it through. That's applied to me collecting toys too, I've slowed it down. But having said all that..I'm glad you posted again. You don't have to keep up...I like the conversation around your videos b/c we all have a unique fondness for these robots. I'm enjoying Deathsaurus..I waited for years(for 3rd party to release theirs which I didn't pull the trigger on) and I guess it was just odd fortune that Hasbro got the itch to make obscure characters like this guy.

Interestingly, the pair of 'new' Micromasters are actually extensive retools of the TF Siege & Earthrise Micromaster Combiners, Direct-Hit & Power Punch, if I'm not mistaken, according to some insider/designer reveals. 😊
Well, waddaya know! It's very subtle, but it looks like the upper legs and, possibly, shoulder joints are reused. I never would have guessed without being told!

I dunno... A lot would probably have to change in my life for that to happen. Fingers crossed, though!
I know the partsforming shield/tail is accurate to the original toy, but I wish they either would have copied they engineering from Grimlock, which he was originally going to be a retool of, or at least put in an extra set of hinges on the lower half, so that the shield mode actually looked like a sensible kiteshield. As it is, I hope that is part of an upgrade kit soon.
I think my 3rd party liokaiser/ hades and dinoking look pretty great with deathsaurus on display.
