GGG isnt a global star, he did 140k PPV numbers his last fight. Im not taking anything away from his ability, he is hands down the best pound for pound in the game right now, and i dont think its unreasonable for the eubanks to want a reward for a fight of such great risk

He's not saying it's about money it's principles he's talking about fighters should be sorted out before the broadcasters (sky) and promoters. I respect what he's saying it's the fighter putting it on the line they should come first.
So basically to sum it up sky I believe and promoters are trying to sort out what kind of money they will generate before sorting out what the fighters should get hope this helps.

So to translate what Eubank Sr is saying he don't want Jr to sine a contract that says he only gets say, 1million no matter what. Sr wants a contract that says Jr gets a % of the total $ earned from the fight witch could be way more than 1million. If the fight brought in 30 million and in Jr's contract it said he gets 1million then he gets 1million but if the contract was made the way Sr wants and said Jr gets 25% then he could walk away with 7.5million. I don't think hes being to unreasonable unless he's asking for like 60% hell that's how Mayweather made all his money.

Have to disagree, was a fan of Eddie Hearn, less so recently with certain mis matches and fights being on ppv that should not be. But he is like his old man Barry Hearn, he makes sure that he just earns everyone more money and so gets more himself. Sky's practice is fine, some boxers don't even earn a grand for their fights, heard once the European title for flyweight was called off as Spanish and Italian boxer and no one bid for the right to put it on! Eubank ducked GGG have to believe Hearn on that one.
wrong the deal was done the papers faxed to the Eubanks ....Snr procrastinated wanting to change the set deal the same percenatges that AJ has and other Champions in the stable have. He didn't sign or get back to Matchroom within 48 hrs as he said in the video so sky pulled the plug as they have other interests and have't got time to cater to egos. To change the way deals are struck you don't do it in a negotiation for a fight. That's a separate business meeting with Sky and Matchroom not in a fight negotiation which has 48hrs to be signed. That's why Eddie is saying not strictly correct!... there are set protocols in any business regarding pricing and negotiations.

I understand what he means about boxers being a priority. However, he needs to understand it's not just a fight, it's an event. If they don't fight, fight events will still happen. If he wants it to be all about the boxer, phone triple g, ask if he wants a fight in the backyard, arrange the time, date, contact the emergency services and charge everyone who comes to watch it.

Eubank is a legend, if you don't have leverage you don't get change, English is trying to get change for all fighters , he might not get it for his son , but the subject is now on the table. GGG might be like but he does not do the ppv numbers otherwise this fight would be in another country and Eubank could not make this play.

Eubank Sr has a valiant idea he's wanting however ... fighters want the big money and the big money is only available on ppv the big money... so if you want the big money then the network has major pull because they are distributing the product via cable networks and for that they do generally give up the majority of the ppv price to the promoter which flows to the fighter so Sr has to realize they need the network just as much as the network wants Jr ... but simple fact without ppv you won't get the big purses but you can still make a decent living fighting on free to air if that's what you want

Reading between the lines it would seem that the current deal on the table goes something like.... Eubank gets a basic purse plus a percentage of the PPV money based on how well the fight sells.
