Out of all the opinions expressed after this fight, Eddie Hearn's is probably the most balanced. He's the only one who's given Junior props for getting as far as he has with no trainer and lacking fundamentals.
However, I do think too much blame is being placed on Senior. Junior is a grown man and it's ultimately been his decision not to have a trainer not his Dad's. I'm sure his Dad would've preferred him to have a trainer and was the one who bought Adam Booth on board. If Junior chooses not to listen to a trainer, thats no-one else's fault but his own. Hopefully he is man enough to put his ego to one side and make the necessary changes.

A trainer is an absolute must have for any boxer, the idea of going for world titles without one is insane, you won't be able to progress at elite level if you do not have the fundementals the sport requires.

He had Chris Eubank jr in his stable, they mugged him off. He called for the Golovkin fight because he was the WBA interim fight and lost his pen. Hearn was pissed as Golovlin flew over to tbe UK, the venue was set and he didnt sign the contract. Hearn had to put a 36-0 IBF Welterweight champ in Kell Brook to move 2-weight to save the event.

Definitely i agree with all of those points. One could argue Eubank has got a better chin but he did get decked twice in the Groves fight although the ref ignored it and hurt badly in round 11, Jacobs got ko'd 8 years ago and decked once by GGG but wasn't badly hurt. Jacobs vs Groves would be a very good fight if he ever moved up but i doubt he will with the paydays down at 160 available.

It was not to wide on the judges cards..One had it 115-113 for Groves as I did. Groves won yes but not as wide as the Eubank haters says..I look objectivly on gthis fight..He pressed Groves all night but was picked off a few many times and fought like a game pitbull terrier. Great fight
