Chris Eubank begins by showing a video, which is shown to the audience just before he begins his speech, he says it is to show that he is belligerent.
He says his belligerence is intelligent as he fights to win and if he can't win he doesn't fight.
He quotes Rudyard Kipling's 'If':
"If you can keep your head whilst all about you
are losing theirs, and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;..."
He says all you need is this to live your life by because everyone will love you, respect you and be your friend. He goes on to talk about truth, saying there's kindness, humility and dignity in truth. He gives examples of courage saying that if someone has a bogie on their nose and they don't know about it then it takes courage and greatness to tell them.
He talks about his lose against Michael Watson where he was concussed in the 11th Round, he said he got up even though the fight was lost because it was the right thing to do. Chris expresses how his Jamaican upbringing kept him on the right track, following this he quotes Nelson Mandela saying, "Be true to yourself". When he was younger he was suspended 18 times from one school before being expelled for protecting kids from being bullied. Even though he knew he would get the belt when he got home he still protected them because he knew he was doing the right thing.
He finishes by mentioning the Iraq war and the protest he made outside Downing Street where he was arrested.

I read Eubank's autobiography and was a fan for life. He is an outstanding human being.
In what way?
What I love about Mr. Eubank is his thought, and delivery to every word he annunciates.
I love hearing this man talk. I love the Ssssss emphasis that he puts on his annunciations.
Chris a fascinating man. A myth created by himself. But with a basis of credibility. He is always someone I would listen and contemplate with.
Here is a man, in the truest sense. A great sportsman, a man who entertained us, made us laugh and made us think, and who now reveals himself to be a born teacher. Thank you, Mr Eubank, for being one of my role models when I was growing up.

In order to really know this we have to live it, namely, have truth, kindness and greatness in our hearts. That requires a huge courage sufficient to confront every bully we see in our life however powerful they are. Not easy, but that's what allows a man to teach his son (and everyone else) how to be a kind man.

I have much respect for Chris, for what he has achieved and for his individuality. I don't agree with his idea of greatness or courage and maybe I've missed a greater message but in my opinion the definition of courage is the ability to do something that frightens you; if telling someone they have a bogey in their nose doesn't frighten you, is this really courage? I know he's using this as an example but I think it holds true for other examples.
