Toronto Maple Leafs Honour Borje Salming - November 12,2022

Borje Salming is the Leafs all-time points leader for defencemen. A hockey icon in Sweden and Toronto, Salming was diagnosed with ALS in the summer of 2022.
The Leafs and LeafsNation had the opportunity to thank and honour Borje Salming at the games celebrating the Hockey Hall of Fame weekend. This video is taken from the Purple section in Scotiabank Arena. It shows the entire video tribute and the crowd reaction to one of the greatest players in Leafs history. As soon as the video tribute began the crowd stood for “The King” 💙

Heard on sports radio here,that the street where he grew up,change name to Börje Salming street..got goosebumps,could nt have made a better decision.
