Diabetes treatment is so important for us to minimize the complications of diabetes. We have to understand if our treatments themselves can cause harm and what goals we are trying to achieve in the diseases we manage.
In a rapidly changing world it is important that we understand why medicine is practiced the way it is by looking at landmark research that has changed patient care. In addition examining new research allows us to see how the future of medicine is changing.

Can you explain to me why my NP wants me to go back to finger sticking when my A1C is pretty much 4.8 for years now?

I am not sure but open communication is important in health care. Ask your NP why they thinks that is needed and I am sure he or she will be able to explain it to you. Thanks for watching!
