Look out across the water if you dare. You too may encounter Dark Shadows Across The Forth Estuary.

Awsome history. Like the sound of the island...and hound. Great job. Great storys.
Great stuff as usual, love the aesthetic you create with these 🖤
More great stories of areas around Edinburgh and beyond.
These are such fantastic stories.... thanks for the knowledge...and your excellent narration and accent
Many, many thanks. There are some suitably spooky stories from the area. We have a brand new ghost walk starting this coming spring. The restless ghosts of Leith await you👻

The goat ringing the church bell was so funny that I laughed out loud! I think because it's more than likely true, it's not too ridiculous - but just ridiculous enough!
It's a funny old tale. Part of Cramond history along with the unfortunate body snatcher story. Cromwell rampaged through Edinburgh, but he never obtained the Cramond Kirk bell. I am working on another Cromwell story for the next book, but from the other side of the city...
Again another huge round of applause for these tales. Expertly researched and skilfully told. I would love to visit all these places. Still keeping my fingers crossed for my May trip, to include a wander to Leith, the old gods willing!
Cheers and looking forward to the next dark tales. Don't forget Rosebank - drowned sailors, doomed soldiers and plague victims. Oh ..for a trawl through the records! 💀👍🥃
Cheers Gill.. Glad you liked this latest ghostly tale. I am trying to find out details of Rosebank, any info would be appreciated. If you can please forward to

I'll be sending an email. With lockdown everything is closed. Very much a "nightmare" for you when you have archives to look up. I'm going through all my Victorian Edinburgh books. But being Edinburgh, not much about Leith as mostly pre 1920!
Wee Glasgow cat here-- nicely done lovey! ♥
Glad you liked the creepy tales of the forth😃👍
@@northedinburghnightmares7533 Indeed I did. You're making me less angry by the moment! >
