- 26% of Americans are planning to skip the COVID vaccine. We get that people are skeptical of politicians and celebrities telling them what to do but we should listen to doctors. The men and women who have been on the front lines of the pandemic risking their lives to save ours are frustrated. If we don’t get more people vaccinated we could see vaccine-proof new mutations of the virus and go through this all over again. So as a public service we asked some real doctors and nurses to offer their best advice to those who are on the fence about the vaccine. Pay attention, this is important.

I'm 74, unvaxed. Over these 3.5yrs, I've spent much time in crowded homes, apartments, offices, businesses, events, cars, buses, & trains. I use diet, supplementation, exercise, rest, sleep, & socialization to stay well. c100 of my vaxed friends, relatives, neighbors, & acquaintances, have had COVID, many severely. I've remained disease-free.
Thats great for you, doesn't mean thousands of people your age including my great aunt and uncle didnt die from complications due to covid. I am grateful your life was spared.

If they died with Covid, it means it exacerbated their preexisting issues, but that death cannot be directly attributed to Covid, but to the comorbidity. Influenza exacerbates preexisting issues as well, but I don't recall anyone saying that someone with diabetes, heart disease, or obesity died because of the flu, and not because of a heart attack or organ failure.

I have had horrible experiences... and I’m still pissed that they gave my dad a flu shot in the hospital and when he went into sudden multiple organ failure within 24 hours, they told me they didn’t know why. There’s much more to the story, but I have nearly zero trust in them.

If you can't answer your patient's questions and concerns respectfully and provide them with the facts they need to feel comfortable about the treatment you are proposing then you shouldn't be a doctor or a nurse. It's part of the job. DO YOUR JOB. These people are a disgrace to themselves and to the medical profession.
When the state takes over an industry that "We the free people built", (which is all of them), the employees then work for the state. So it is 100% understandable, just from the idea of "ownership" of the industry, who the employees are forced to serve first. First, the serve the state today, (and I am sure many hate that, but they are stuck). And then they serve you---the way the state dictates. How can that not be true after obamacare, (and other actions before obama), fostered the main goal as state run health care? They work for the state, and are told what to do for you. Find a Doctor who is independent, and you have a much better chance of finding a Doctor with his/her own brain who tries to only sever his/her patients. In the hospitals, they are "doing their job", like anybody who works for the state,--with no personal values allowed.

What bothers me most is that there's this wonderful thing called medical autonomy which basically everyone is infringing upon. There is enormous pressure to get vaccinated, and you're basically called an f'ing idiot if you elect not to get it. I'm angry at the fact that any health 'professional' is getting national spotlight, plus it's incredibly pathetic how mindless lots of them are. So, I can't stand when anyone acts like doctors are some supreme human being with infinite perfect knowledge. There are such a thing as bad and mediocre docs. This whole pandemic and seeing nurses etc. behaving holier-than-thou has made me incredibly unenthused about graduating and entering any healthcare/medical profession.
And here I thought this was a late night variety show meant to entertain. I had no idea this was an actual PSA. I'm glad I always tune into Kimmel to get the latest facts about the Covid pandemic instead of finding credible sources of information myself.
EVERY SINGLE ONE of these doctors should lose their medical licenses.
There are legal and ethical problems with any doctor pushing treatment on anyone but to do so in this way is simply disgusting.
