apparently, the story is pretty deep but when I red it I mostly just enjoyed the dialog and when I got to the end i didn't even know what it was about lol

No if anything you look more like that guy who reviews bourbons in Austin ... Yeah lots of debates on the ending online ... Christ, Easter, sure I agree with all that -- but what hits me harder is just her realizing getting invited back over to hang more with the cute guy is more important than getting the cabfare ... And that life is so uncertain and unstable that something in your pocket might prove better than nada !

I'm a Christian and I don't get those undertones. That's just weird. I haven't read the story, but I think if that's what the author was trying to convey I think I'll avoid it.

I think Salinger jumped from one religion to another more often than he changed his shorts. So it is quite possible he was trying to play a game, that just flew over my head. ,😂✌️
