Just Before the War with the Eskimos - Short Story.

J.D Salinger. 1948. Ginnie Mannox confronts her friend Selena Graff about always having to pick up the cab fare on their way back from tennis every Saturday and demands that she pay her pack. This dispute in the cab leads them into Selena's apartment, where Ginnie is left alone in the living room to wait while Selena asks her ill mother for money.
During this time she encounters Selena's brother, Franklin, who is complaining about his recently injured finger while he waits for his friend Eric, due to arrive any minute. Then Franklin goes to shave, while Ginnie continues to sit bored. Eric finally shows up and now she has to listen to him complain about his roommate, a writer, while he waits for Franklin to get ready before they go see a movie.

Very glad you've created this series of Salinger's Supreme stories...but but but your mispronunciations, in all the readings, are outstandingly off base, wrong, distracting. Oh, doesn't this bother anyone else? Yikes.
