I think it’s SO funny how long her list of demands is after the Draco tells her the war is lost. She has to grab her medical supplies, get Ginny, then after that she even tried to fit in a chat with Snape. I’m like…. You’re running errands at this point!

I wonder if a mercy killing could count as a “meaning it” when it comes to the killing curse. You could very much well want to mercy kill someone that’s suffering and it would count as meaning it, no? I know it’s never discussed in the books, but I would assume that yes.
I think so. Draco talked about Dennis and Colin. He killed Dennis and was going to do the same to Colin but Colin kept trying to pull Dennis’ body with him. Then the other death eaters caught up so Draco couldn’t use a Avasa kedavra in front of them. They had been told to use the new curses that were being invented. Not quite a mercy killing, but choosing it as a quick death vs torture and suffering.
Snape is the mood. 'Really?'
