    Brilliant advice.
I'd like to add to #7 Times will change because i think it may apply to many other than myself.
In the couple of years of "researching" DIY solar I've leant towards all sorts of different systems but will just be starting off simple because of #7....what if I die? I love my wife dearly but she just won't have a clue how the system works.....and a DIY solar system is going to have a lot of "builder knows" facets to it.
So I am going to start simple and hopefully have her involved and learn before I move up to next little step.
I know that there will be some folk out there that have a partner that is just as capable and excited or even more capable. But the reality is that there'll be a whole heap of folk out there that once they have the nod to go for it will just push on and build an amazing, but very complicated, system and god forbid if they should pass...would those left behind know how to run and service it????
    Great video yet again :)

@Ulbre Good thinking... sharing the knowledge! :) to me DIY is a lot about learning, preparing for what's ahead, freedom and independence. And sharing the knowledge with others and future generations. But also, not being steered by "prevailing winds". I try to think outside the box. That's getting really hard these days, it seems everything is going one way. That said, I will do my part to promote truth and spread information, all people can decide for themselves :)

When I was a kid I had a tiny Radio Shack solar panel, about the size of a business card. Was fascinated (and wanted a bigger one of course)

Yeah I prefer those kind of unboxing vids always. I have a lot of cheap gadgets that failed on me, hot glue and a flat blade screwdriver usually is involved lol
