Hey, I didn't unterstand what you used for the part under the cake, where you wrote "happy birthday"...and how much of biscuit do you made for the whole cake? Is it very difficult for a Beginner?
This cake's amazing! I'm inspired to make a life size bass guitar cake for my son's 18th birthday. How much fondant did you use for the guitar body and neck? I'm not an experienced cake decorator so am looking at various websites' guides to how much you need but funnily enough, they don't have one for full size guitars! Thanks
Haha! Hi James! Thank you so much! This was a loooong time ago now but if I were making it now I’d probably roll out 2.5kg so I had a big sheet to lay over. There will be significant excess fondant but if you roll out too little that’s when it gets really tricky. Good luck if you haven’t made it already! xx
