Hi Y’all! I’m Shelby Bower and I am a cake and sugar artist. I make fun cake videos and I post my creations every Wednesday at 2:00pm CST. I have been a cake artist for a LONG LONG time now and I make all sorts of cakes! Huge dropdead gorgeous wedding cakes, crazy sculpted cakes, little cute painted cakes, cake pops, painted cookies, all types of cookies really! I love making oversized cookies, isomalt creations, even the earth! whatever you can dream up I can make it out of cake! I use cake, isomalt, sugar, candy, fondant, cookies, buttercream (American buttercream is my favorite) royal icing, sprinkles… I even have a special recipe that uses flax seed (eww gross) to make my crazy cake creations.

Follow along as I show you how to create an electric guitar cake! I carve a chocolate cake to create a sculpted, gravity defying guitar cake with realistic strings and hardware details. This cake also has its own pattern that you can purchase on our website www.TheSugarScoop.com ! It includes the pattern, a list of materials, edible image pdf print outs (all you need is an edible printer and some icing sheets) and poster/ birthday band merch print outs for your custom cake board! As well as some extra instructions and tips for this project! For only five dollars!

I thiiiink it’s 30 it’s says in my pdf download with a cutting guide. I just can’t remember off the top of my head.

What a lovely cake. Do you have template for the bass guitar?

@@TheSugarScoop no problem. I could manage to make my bass guitar structure from wooden boards and fill it up with cake. That way I got real sized instrument that can be lifted.
Instead of fondant covered board, couldn't you use rice krispies for the neck?
It would still need a board for support.
