Thanks! I used Royal icing and I stuck sparklers in it lol. I have a better video of the sparklers I still need to edit and post on ig.

Over the top awesome and amazing...the story was interesting but distracted me from the making of the volcano cake which is what I want to learn from start to finish...
This is a happy compromise for me. To make an over-the-top cake, film it and instruct every detail is a ton of work for me. I prefer to create without worrying how to teach it (unless I'm developing a class). So I end up not creating cakes for CZcams as spectacular as I wan't to, which makes me not want to make videos. In Stories in Sugar, I'm showing you the process, so you can get the idea, filming it and not worrying about teaching it. This is enjoyable for me and hopefully enjoyable to watch, and you can pick up some cake decorating tips, but for a full instruction I prefer teaching a class in person or on my teachable site.

On the cake? Didn’t seem to affect it very much. But the smoke doesn’t last very long.
