@Ola Askjer. Dont speak on behalf of people you dont know. I have lived on a farm in iceland all my life so I can say that nature doesnt make people irrational. In fact most icelanders would be offended if you bring up this do you believe in elves crap. Fun stories but not real.

The elves, gnomes, fairies, goblins etc. are commonly also called the fae. They are all considered "cousins" to each other. And of course they exist. This, and other dimension(s) are their home. They can move in and out of them. Just as it's ridiculous to think we are the only life in the Universe, it is ridiculous to think the animals in the zoo plus some others, are the only other beings that exist here.

I associate with the fae folk. And respect them. The first one I SAW, clear as you or me, was a gnome standing on a boulder waving at me. I waved back, he smiled and went into his boulder.

When they showed off, they have a same height as human. Their ears are pointy. So, yeah, they are tropical elves.

So I'm a Norse Pagan, and I love the fact that our religions are related. Both faiths (and a lot of others) come from the same origin, the Proto Indo Europeans. At one point they had the same language, culture, religion, and overall way of life. They spread across much of Asia and Europe, which is why the faiths are pretty similar to this day. You call one god Indra, and I call him Thor. It's the same god in the end though.

Perhaps Icelandic elves or Hidden People opened the recent Fagradalsfjall volcano to release the enormous pressure that would otherwise have caused more damage. Maybe they made sure that the outbreak takes place in a closed valley that is easy to observe, and in an uninhabited area where no one can be harmed. ;-)

They care for and love where they live, simple. It is not much, but it is home. Americans, myself included, have taken advantage of what we had and where we came from. The united states used to be a magical far away land, that everyone wanted to see with their own eyes. A dream long past. There is a price for every action and we are paying what is due.

It was terrifying for some reason, because it felt like in reality I was im in a cube that changes shape and is feeding me a fake reality lol.
Wasn’t the first time I took mushroom at high dose but this was the first time it encounters the all great elf’s that spread love and they through me down a pit for what felt like 10000 years lol it got pretty spooky

But even if the don't exist it is still a great story/ way to get people to love and respect nature by saying this area is inhabited by elves so please respect this natural space which is their home. I think the people that say the fae elves, fairies, gnomes, dwarves, and trolls, ect. Are out of tune spend enough time in nature without destruction and I'm sure they will know these stories to be true

Sounds so much like Jinn that Muslims believe in. Jinn literally means hidden beings in Arabic.
Not all Jinn are bad. Evil jinn are demons, but good jinn are not demonic spirits but good spirits that have chose to worship God instead of following Satan.

The "huldufólk" are just as plausible as the God that Christians believe in. To the credit of those that believe in huldufólk, they never formed an entire religion around something that has never been seen.
