Michelle couldn't have broken them up by telling Allison of the affair, they were Catholic and took their religion seriously. They were married. For life.
They got away with murder. They disgust me. They even tried to get money out of it. How low do you have to be?
I’m only 25 minutes in but had to comment ….. paying for your mistress’s flight and hotel to attend your wedding is wild !!!! Why get married?? The audacity!!

My dad had 4 failed marriages due to cheating. On the last one, I finally sat him down and flat out told him, when you get married, you STOP dating! His father was a serial cheater, great role model. Also, had to have a very bold talk about testing for STDs including HIV. Not a conversation you want, or expect, to have with your 70 year old father.😬
I think those girls are guilty as hell.
So sad... this poor young woman lost her life for the obessession an idiot girl had for a useless, cheater, liar.... so unfair
It's frightening that a jury's verdict could be overturned by ppl with an axe to grind, and nobody else convicted! Where is the justice for Alison?
RIP Alison, I really hope justice will happen before her parents pass away. Can’t imagine losing a child in this way
My daughter in law was at school with these girls and was bullied by them because her mum is Indian. They were terrifying !

In the US we're taught to ask for a lawyer ESPECIALLY if you're innocent. Why? Let's just say West Memphis 3 and leave it at that.
Yep, they used Misskelly to fry the other two by telling him he could go home. That case still pisses me off!
But so many people don’t have a lawyer during police interrogations. Many are guilty of the crime. No matter what, innocent or guilty, always have a lawyer.

Never heard of this case Emma but oh my gawd! I'm stunned they got the conviction over turned. Some of these old Judges are so far removed from normal every day living that their reality is skewed. John Shaughnessy's behaviour has been absolutely despicable. What was the point of marrying Alsion and keeping Michelle as his mistress??
He wanted his cake and to eat it too. He was quite a bit older or certainly looked it from those photos, and yet he's having an affair with a girl of 21. I'm sorry but this doesn't ring true to me.
He was old enough to know better and I shouldn't think his behaviour went down well with his in laws either.
From the get go he was playing with fire. And to have sex with Michelle when Alison had only been dead for ten days is abhorrent to me quite frankly.
And yes I believe the two sisters did it. They were the only ones who had a motive.
Interesting point, though is I wonder if Lisa has had any punishment for stabbing that poor dog to death.

Absolutely brilliant coverage of a case Ive been obsessed with since it happened and I read The Dream Solution and kept going back and forth with my thoughts, it did cross my mind the Bernard M cld of just wanted revenge when she dumped him but you have brought ij some details I wasn’t aware of and convinced that those sisters were as guilty as hell… RIP Alison and my heart 💔 for her family

I too remember going to the meet up spot and waiting for your mate. Sometimes didn’t have a watch on so had no idea what time had passed and NO PHONE to keep me busy while waiting. Could be a minute or could be 2 hours or they might not come because they got grounded and have no way to tell you. So you sit, picking leaves off a bush or playing with blades of grass being bored 😂

Hopefully there is a new case - maybe the knife in the mop could be further analysed with photos and they can prove that the markings match the wounds. Maybe DNA testing could find something today that they couldn’t find back then on the knife.

Lets hope the police will some day find new evidence to retry them cos its so obvious they did it.

I hope to be a good storyteller on my channel like you Emma. Keep up the good work. Loving the content. In fact regarding the whole women and murdering made me think I don’t think it’s the men commit more murders I think it’s quite equal but that we because we know how to deal with blood and poo and waste much better at cleaning up. Look at the woman who turned her victim into soap and tea cakes. The only reason she got caught was because of the letters that she was sending if she hadn’t done that I don’t think she would’ve been caught.

I worked with her sister Susan Blackmore in the late 90's. I found out much later that Alison was her sister. It was then that I understood why Susan was such a miserable person.

It’s a pay to watch/members extras I think
It's a completely different area that's behind a paywall. You get early access to the videos and extra content that isn't censored by CZcams. It's a bit more expensive than the membership but I guess you can get the deepest of the dive into the story. Some creators use it to show crime scene footage, etc. I don't know that Emma shows that sort of thing but some do.
