That a7C is a great camera. Especially for the price and when paired with good lenses.
I use your FX3 and a74 with some Sony GM primes along with rented lenses when doing film shoots.

I got a Canon EOS Rebel T7. I know it's not much, but I got a 24-70mm Macro Lens to go along with it.
I want to start making short little indie films. All in preparation for the films I want to Direct and Produce.

I use a Sony A7C with a sigma 24-70 2.8, and I also have a set of soviet vintage lenses, because I just love the look of those old optics 😍

I don’t yet own a camera, but I’m working toward getting a Canon R6, and a gimbal would be a nice addition to the rig! I’m a teenage filmmaker with a videography internship currently, and I would love to have some gear to keep building my skills after this internship finishes.
That’s a pretty good camera! 📸 Have you ever used a Sony camera? I used to use Canon but switched to Sony about 6 years ago because they had way better video features (although it’s getting a lot more comparable now with recent Canon cameras). Where are you interning?
@@CamberFilmSchool I used a friend’s Sony A7IV recently, great camera! Honestly I’m still researching cameras. I’m interning for the summer at my local church and helping produce videos for all of their campuses.

Most of the time, I’m shooting with a Sony Alpha 7II and 24-105 F4… an oldie but a goodie.
I’m documenting small-scale sustainable fisheries and aquaculture projects to promote blue economy development in emerging economies.
Definitely a good camera. Don’t need the newest tech if you know what you’re doing. 😉
I use a Sony ZvE-10 with a Tamron 17 to 70 mm f2.8 and a Sony 11mm f1.8.

@@CamberFilmSchool Thank you. My question was: If I use a Gimbal with a Zoom.... is it possible to use the Gimbal normally or should I audjust the Gimbal if I change the zoom from 17 to 70 mm ? I think the fix lens with 11 mm is no problem ...
@quasar_78 technically you should balance it each time you change it for the best performance. But the way I do it is balance it with the zoom lens extended halfway out, and then it works well throughout the zoom range.
I was able to do this with my FX3 & 24-70mm f/2.8 lens so it should work fine with that much lighter setup that you have.
Been learning a lot with my ZV-1, about to switch to a mirrorless setup!

I use A7SIII with G-Master 16-35 f2.8 Mark 2. I would use it for cinematic videos and filming high end sports cars Im getting in to and REALLY need a gimbal :)

I don’t have a camera yet, but I’m wanting to get an FX30.
I currently just use my phone and one of my friend has a couple cameras. I make fictional films with my friends, so a gimbal would allow me to get shots I’ve been unable to get thus far.
Plus I’m recording my friends’ wedding day this fall. AWESOME.
That’ll definitely be quite a step up from a phone camera. What kind of camera do your friends have that you’re using?
@@CamberFilmSchool He has a canon xf605 and a Sony AX43. Yeah, I don’t plan to use the phone for the wedding, lol.
But hopefully I can get the FX30 before the wedding and can use all three cameras to do the wedding.

I am using a Sony a6300 with a Tamron 17-70mm f2.8, but would like to try the Sigma 16mm f1.4, and (doubtful if it would work) Tamron 70-300mm lens. I would be shooting city event videos with this gimbal.

I am using a Fujifilm XT3 with the 18-55 kit lens. I would like to use a BMPCC4k camera as well
I haven’t used either but I hear the BMPCC is good.
I use a Sony A7IV with the Samyang 35-150. It's a great combo for filmmaking, but I haven't found a consumer-level gimbal that can handle that payload!
That thing is a beast!
@CamberFilmSchool I agree. But for my combo, I'd rather rely on your tripod tricks than to spend a $1000 on a bigger gimbal.

I prefer Sony cameras for video. The ZV-E10 is a good budget option with a lot of good lens choices.
I use the Canon 80D and a EF-s10-22mm uwa lens! I think this gimbal would be perfect considering how bulky the 80D is! Cheers camber films!

I usually shoot ragtag street videos, but I'm trying to transition into more short form vlogs. I've been stuck in a rut for years. The last video I uploaded was during the start of the pandemic... I'm a real nerd about camera gear though!

@@CamberFilmSchool Is a global shutter heaps better, in your opinion?
It’s going to help with not getting rolling shutter in your videos, but even when I used cheaper cameras, that was never an issue for me because I rarely did movements fast enough that made it very noticeable.
I have the Sony ZV-E10 with the kit lens, all I got so far. Would like to film my little town and areas around to share.
