Mark and friends, you all want me to go back home. I grew up in Luzon and when I went back several years ago, I got a chance to visit childhood friends living in their ancestral home in Negros Oriental (where friends have a farm/hacienda) near thre shore and a day in Dumaguete. If/when I go back to the Philippines, I would like to go back there. If I were to stay there, I prefer to live in Negros Oriental, Iloilo, or Guimaras. I find Negros Oriental to be very peaceful and welcoming. I hope to reconnect with friends there but having trouble even finding them on social media.

And we all had to be home by sun down in time for the Angelus prayer and dinner afterwards. I might leave California and retire there too i guess. Hmmm come to think of it.

Hi Mark, excellent videos and interviews so far. I just wanted to make a quick comment on your draft information. It is true that the draft was by birthdate. However your believe that everyone with the same birthdate was drafted together isn't entirely correct. Most of the draftees were selected within the first 200-225 birthdays. My twin brother and I were drafted in the last draft in 1971. Our basic training company was made up from all the eligible 18 year olds and criminals out of the Arizona jails. I grew up in Southern California, specifically in Oxnard. All of our friends were drafted along with my brother and I.

Hope u guys d0nt think that filipinas marry or have a relationship with old guys because of money or stability. Generally, we are hopeless romantics and we dont really mind age gap here. I have friends, all filipinos who have 10 or more years difference wth their partners. I had an ex, filipino guy too who was 15 yrs older than me. He was married with 2 kids, his wife cheated on him. Despite his baggage, still accepted him bcos 1st of all, i really love him, i was attracted to him. Secondly, i felt sorry for him. I was always thinking who would take care of him when he grows older. Just treat us good and we will treat you better. Be straightforward also with your expectations in the relationship.

Would a young sexy girl really would be attracted to an old man with no money and couldn’t provide all the above? The answer - no. The happiness part in life only comes in when you’re physically comfortable . Be truthful and it’s not necessary to lie .

Dennis mentioned he was a Seventh-day Adventist as a child and young man. I was raised in that religion myself. I left it in my early 20’s. However, much of the apocalyptic theology and fear of people of “the world” (any not part of the SDAs) haunted me for years later. At age 64 I am over all that. I’d be interested to hear Dennis take on all that crap.

USA $80 to $115 water bill in South West FL. And a $10k assessment to run a pipe to county septic cause they claim that's better than there chemicals and constant spills. And I have paid 3k the last 3 years while having to use inspect my septic tank. At another $450 every three years plus water bill which is about $17 less than normal water and sewer bill. Everything here is very expensive. Especially property taxes and insurance on a average nice 3 bed two bathhone average value $350k is around $6500 per year. So if yr home owners insurance plus sometimes fluid and wind extra policy required could go up $275/ month meaning yr house payment goes up that much. And if yr mortgage was financed on a variable rate with these interest rates going up almost double then that's thousands more you will have to pay on yr house payment. And if you stop paying it only takes them about 6 months or less then the bank will take yr house including the equity if any unless they can sell it quickly pay off the bank and keep any equity. A speeding ticket is $280.00 and cops have no problem giving a single female driver a couple. Then full coverage auto insurance averages. Over $125/month $400/ month for. teenagers.
