What’re you running for a dual duty alignment? Comment below!
Would like Camber front & rear: -1,5 degrees. Front toe: +0,03 each side. Rear toe: +0,09 each side. Rake: rear a little higher than the front. Don't know about caster. Fear of running negative toe, it would make the car nervous for daily driving (sensitive to unevenness in the road surfaces).
oh dam dude, im also from CT and just started getting my Miata ready for track day hope to see you at an event... I also do the FPV drones love it so much
Love from the UK, just got myself another Eunos Roadster NA6CE after a few years out the game. Great content Ryan 🦾
Thanks Greg! It’s hard to stay away from them once you’ve owned one for a while. Simple, raw, and fun cars!
Awesome! 👍
Fire video my guy!!!! Keep the content coming you are really good at making these videos...
Thanks bro! They take a while to make but I’m never going to stop 👊
Car is lookin sexy and that racing looked fun out there!
Nice driving bro
Great info, just got my car aligned to these specs and heading to autox this weekend!
Nice! It’s going to feel incredible. Have a great time out there man, I’m jealous!
I run -4 camber and 7 caster with 0 toe on the front. Rears are -3.5 with 1/8 toe in. I do use the car on the weekends
-50 camber, +0 toe, and +17 caster. it's a really fun drive.
we have soooooooooooooooo many potholes in the roads in the uk....
you hit one...buckled out of shape alloy...broken TPMS sensor.... sooo many times.. and suspension bits...
Because of this....My Mazda dealer does a free alignment check...
They use the same red/green you have..
Free check of course...repairs not....
One of my Alloy wheels is sooo bad...tons of weights on it....and I can only use it on the rear....
Drives oki though....just...
The alloys can be straightened...they heat em up...softer metal can be manipulated... if you try it cold they just crack....
waiting for Quinn to send me some of them Advans.... :)
Tnx for the vid Ryan
N x
Potholes are the devil. Right there in the same family as rust. We have a lot of that crap over here too!
Tpms sensors too… just had to buy another set for the bmw. Those stupid things are not cheap!
Thanks for commenting too. It’s always good to hear from ya Neil!!
Ryan, what's your suspension setup? Coilovers I imagine but spring rates? Ride height either at the pinchwelds or axle center-to-fender F&R? And swaybars F&R? This makes a huge difference in where one should dial more camber..... Thx
Enjoyed the video but can't believe you can get on a race track these days without a roll bar!!!
Curious what size an offset are you RPF1 wheels? I went with what Flyin Miata recommended for my nb2 alignment.
Flyin Miata definitely knows their stuff! The rpf1’s are 14x7 +19. I love how they look but I’m limited on tire sizes and brake upgrades.
Had the same question. 14x7… so that’s 14 inch, 205 wide?
@@NorfolkN currently running a 195/60/14 Falken Azenis RT615K
@@DriveItRyan That's a very similar fitment to RPF1 15x8 +28. Did you have to roll the fenders?
Good info, but one question. They let you run on track with other cars with no helmet or roll support?! Not hating, just seems a little sketchy
Yeah they don’t require you to wear a helmet or have roll protection for this small course. They do require those things for the outside main track though.
Would this setup work on an ND mx5?
You’ll need Coilovers that are made for the ND. After that, you can use similar alignment settings if you use your car like I do. I wouldn’t recommend these settings if you do a lot of highway driving, but for back roads and track use, it’s real good.
Pretty irresponsible track day provider that doesn't require helmets. Not to mention no rollbar on open top car on a track.
