- Wagner airless paint sprayer is so much better than i was expecting. This is by far the easiest, user friendly and effective product for a range of painting applications and projects. The Wagner control pro 350 m is definitely worth the money and the results are flawless. This was my first time using an airless sprayer and i would definitely recommend it to any one. The paint i was using was super thick high quality paint and Wagner had no problem spraying it with no thinning required. The air less design allows for a perfect finish every time. This video has been a god send. The instructions are not very clear. Your video has helped me loads. Thanks mate
I am always learning something new watching your videos. Thanks Bill, you’re a great teacher.
your over spray is way too much but good vid
Just bought the 350r. I really like the video and approach you took when explaining. Top lad
Great review mate. Thank you very much for taking the time to review the unit
Id just like to say thanks I purchased this from screwfix for a big factory due to a new dead line I panicked and looked of ways to cut time someone mensiond spraying so I youtubed it..
I priced 3 weeks work to painting all the breeze block walls in a factory,
But i did a good day of masking and blowing off crap off the walls and 3 days of spaying I was lost for words with this thing, I've never spayed in my life and littrely payed it's self off thank you so much the pressure on my head with this job was unreal
You’re welcome👍👍👍
CZcams is honestly just amazing. You can learn so much. Thanks to you and others for your service.

perfect video and you make it easyer for any one wanted to used .well done
You got me excited about painting…that in itself was worth a Sub & a Like! Great Video.
Thanks mate just bought one and this helps set it up properly
Excellent review brother. Thank you 🙏🏽👑
I dunno why I watched this, I, nearly done painting but that’s satisfying as hell to see.
You're the best teacher! Thank you so much,,,
Thank you so much for your video that's what I'm looking for
Amazing product cheers for the great video
Been in the painting and decorating trade for 16 years. I love spraying ceilings for it quickness and the beautiful finished look. The only downside to it is the covering everything because the overspray gets into the tiniest of gaps!
I’m sure there’s plenty on top of the Fan blades.
That’s awesome and will definitely look into one of these thanks for the video
Kia ora Bill. Thanks for posting this. I was looking at getting this unit myself... Great review mate
Awesome unit 👍
What a brilliant finish!!!
Today is arrived my pistol same like yours and you helped me a lot with your video tnx Bro 😊
Great video. I bought the 150, can't wait to use it for the interior and exterior on the house.
How was it
Great! Fab review. I do a lot of painting. This would save so much time.
Great review,thank you 💯
Great video Bill.
That coving looks awesome.
I just purchased this about 30 mins ago... Cant wait
Good video Bill. I love this exact sprayer and highly recommend never rolling paint ever again. it is much faster once you mask up everything. While the video is great, please for those at home: 1) WEAR a respirator ALWAYS when spraying! You dont want to be breathing in this stuff, and you WILL even if you can't see it. 2) I would mask up the fans entirely, not just the top of the fan connected to the ceiling like in this video. It's extremely likely you will get excess spray on anything you don't mask. Spend the extra hours to seal everything! 3) get the extension rod for the sprayer (about 100 bucks from Bunnings but worth it) for painting ceilings or hard to reach areas.
It’s quicker while painting but surely the preparation makes it longer than traditional mention. Not to mention the potential mess from spraying. Roller for me
Great finish though
Great comment. Do you need to backroll the paint after spraying it?
@@commanderkeen3787 A matter of taste. I personally wouln't roll any area you spray if possible because I like the uniform smooth finish from spraying. Plus it'll significantly increase the total time needed to paint walls (why not just rollin the first place instead if you want the rolled finish). You'll see the roller paint pattern on the sections of sprayed wet paint where you roll, which will look different to the nice smooth finish you'll get elsewhere from the sprayer. If some sections after spraying dont look right, instead of back rolling, let the paint all dry then spray the bits you missed again. If you experience wet paint droplet lines down the wall, instead of rolling them while they are still wet, sand them back and respray once the wall is dry
Nice mate going to get one for my first sprayer
Mate love this just bought one as learning to spray. Thanks
Remove the filters if you have problems..especially the one in the gun
Great honest video. Like to see how you went about spaying the walls and clean up.
I really enjoyed your video, that was amazing I really need that machine
Just got 1 of these delivered today, this video is tiptop and will save me loads of time in figuring it out. :)
Hey mate i just discovered your channel. Your DIY tips are awesome. Keep the good work. Im so getting this sprayer thing..Finish looks mad 👍
👍
Amazing job 👍🏻🇬🇧
Bill, excellent videos and reviews, an an ex painter I admire your passion and honest hard work. Tip- wear whites! If you wear white not only will you look clean and tidy but more professional. All the best mate 😎👍
Great information I thank you 🙏 cheers
This is Amazing... thank you bro👌👍👊
👍
Wow. What a difference to getting arm ache using a roller and getting lines etc. I want one! Yes, get the 150 range. Nice one Bill!
@Michael Moore like back roll? I'm just learning.
@Michael Moore do you use a particular tape? It seems it always pulls my paint off the trim even when I immediately remove it after painting walls.
@Michael Moore thanks Mike for all the great information. I really do appreciate it.
Mate thank you very much.
Great video easy to paint
Good review, great job. Had me laughing with the book when you said something like - here check this out, yeah dont think so.
Hello Frank from Denmark. After watching your amazing video of this product, I'm really looking forward to using it in real life when I get it home. In Denmark, this machine costs DKK 4,500, in My Fair price when you think about what you get for this price. Again, Thank you very much for the video clip, it helps to see it in use before you buy it. So thank you for that.
Great video. Thanks
Cool. That helped a lot. Thanks!
Great video mate ... Wagner should be sending you some nice freebies for the rap you just gave them
....
them hea tips are awesome 👍
Great vid nice work
Great vid, spoken well pal.
Mate , bloody good. thanks
👍
We normally spray ceilings last easier to tape up the walls leave a nice straight line... thanks for your up load....
After years of trial and error, that seems the easiest way. Just need a ton of long drop plastic sheet if doing multiple rooms.
Any dislikes about the sprayer, awesome video mate
Got a few properties to paint. That machine is unbelievable. Off to buy one now! 😆
I’ll get cha
@@Kevincheesepizza ?!
Great job.
Great video, thanks.
👍
My go too channel for help and guidance.well done
so base on the time you saved, it payed for itself in one job!! great job!!! wear the respirator always
Iv worked out that even if this only last 3-4 jobs and I have to replace it, it’s money well spent. For me anyway 👍👍
Why would the sprayer last only a couple of jobs ? How many jobs have you done with it since ?
it wouldn’t , I’m saying if the unit was only good for 3-4 jobs I would still come out ahead.
@@billshowto don't let wagner know that
@@billshowto 😎🥰👌🙏🙏🙏
Great vidoe.
Overlap 50% ..
Hard edge on spraying means either thick paint or pressure is low...
Dont go over spray area twice" like u did with cornice " on cold days u will get runs.
This is a airless unit that only sprays water based paints.
For enamel paint u will need air assisted pump .
It has 2 hoses from unit to gun 1 for paint and 1 for air.
It can be done with your machine but u will need a tip size around 208 210 and must use a brush to go over sprayed area to clesn up paint runs .
Thumbs up for grest video.
Thanks, bud. You're a legend showing this.
How did you go doing the walls? How did you tape the cornicing? Did the paint come off?
Good job!
Great video. Would love to see you do walls.
I always use 88 mm brush for cornice and 460mm fluffy roller to finish ceiling. It takes me (only one person)half a day (4 hours) to finish the ceiling for a normal 4x2 house.
Best product
I like this produck...
Love it
Truly a great video, and like ALL true blue Aussie.. who needs instruction books.. honestly i think the video was awesome show what it can do with out the BS
You’re very welcome 👍👍👍
Perfect
I would be keen to see the 150
Hi Bill, really appreciate your videos. I wanted to ask if this machine is still going and if so, how is it performing after 2 years? Thank you.
Good vid brother, Pro Painter here near Washington dc.
What control settings did you use for the ceiling? Also, I want to use this in a stairwell is there likely to be too much overspray?
It's good news for painters that they can get a painting job done quickly and to a high standard which means less effort on their part. Sadly, the cost of house painting is not reflected in the quick turnaround and less elbow grease!
Great video. I have the same sprayer i have used it once on outside masonry paint worked a treat was happy with the results. I am no pro but shouldn't you keep your finger on the trigger when switching from prime to spray? Forgive me if I am wrong still no expert myself.
awesome, good video, only question I have is with clean up of the unit?
Hey man! That looks Great!! Witch pressure do hou have with the paint?
This is so satisfying. Im going to buy one now. What do you use to mask up sockets and other such things? Looks like white paper tape? Not sure what you guys call it in AUS but its the stuff you can tear with yours hands, or is it proper paint tape? I often paint up to skirting boards and then find it easier to go round with a square damp sponge to create very fine lines and to mop up any overspray paint before it dries. I know other people who use baby wipes because of the acid in them which easily absorbed water based paint.
Thanks
Seems like a good product, but it seems like (as it has a trolley) it would have made sense to have a platform/bucket that the paint tin could sit on, so you could actually wheel it around without having to remove the paint tin and carrying it separately
Yes, and if you compare price between 350m and 350r, the 350m with unusable trolley costs 130€ more where I live. Makes no sense to buy the 350m for me.
The round loop hook at the front of this machine is meant for the handle of a 5 gallon bucket. Rest the bucket handle on the hook and wheel away around. High boys are meant for commercial use with 5 gallon buckets… the short boys are used for small jobs when a 1 gallon bucket is being used. But most new machines have flexible hoses for both 1 and 5 gallon situations. 😊 you can also rest a 1 gallon bucket inside a 5 gallon bucket then the handle of the 5 gallon can hook on to the machine and the gallon can stays safe inside the larger 5 gallon bucket.
@@BlossomPainting ahh yeah that makes it more useful
@@baddogentertainment6960 trust me
brilliant
Great Video, just what I've been looking for to guide a purchase.
Typically, I want to use mine for primer and emulsion paint when redoing whole houses.
Has anyone measured the quantity of lost paint due to priming the lines plus the lost material after the project is done and the primed lines are still full?
I like your style of content creation, any follow-up video for the cleaning process and what you used to keep it clean and ready for the next project?
Also, what extras you've purchased 3 years on, warranty, reliability 3 years on?
Sweet, maybe cover the windows if you're concerned about overspray drifting down onto them from the ceiling.
Mate I've got the 150 and it is brilliant it works just as well as the one you've got and I can't faulty it but mind you I'm not a professional painter
Hey david where did you buy it from?
Purchased the control pro 350R and flexio 590 after watching yours and Craig's from big brothers videos on the product. I used the 350R today and found the paint came out pretty thick, and when I got towards the bottom 1/4 of the can, the machine didn't spray. Can you give me any advice please @wagner ?
For thick emulsion I kept the white filter in and watered the paint down by 10%
I've only used mine 3 time's. And when I went to use it last week it kept loosing pressure and was constantly trying to pressurise. It's been thoroughly cleaned out after each use. Worked perfectly at first. Not sure what's going on with it. Great video by the way.
Get a refund
Paint is too thick u need to dilute it
Nice 👍
Graco the best !!!
Awesome review, do you think it gonna work on the textured wall?
Great review but the pressure was a little too high you had it on mark 2 and as you sprayed the wall you can see it left two lines which are called tails and that indicates that the pressure was a little to high, try spraying and 1.5/1.7 until you have no tailing and you should get a even better finish less over spray and saving in paint, hope this tip helps but again great video👍🏾
Hey I have this unit do you know why the tip won’t spray?? Unit primes and builds pressure, paint comes out but as soon as I use the tip no spray comes out
The Wagner reply comment said the pressure was too low
Farba była za gęsta a nie ciśnienie za wysokie.
There called fingers and it means pressure is too low not too high
Question is spraying better than roller 🤔
I’m sold. I’m a do it yourself kind of gal. Like too see how you did the walls without over spraying the ceiling.
You mask over the architrave, and if needed a bit of the ceiling with tape and plastic/paper sheeting
Hello. I am a painter too. We do usually furnitures and interior wall and ceiling. Sometimes do big project lil gymnasium. Could you suggest few airless model for those usage? Thank you.
I get the paint spits all the time when i release the trigger did you get the same? Also this is my second sprayer the first broke on the first use faulty valve and the second on is working but trigger guard wont stay up i have to tape it up very unsafe, i had better expectations of the sprayer, should have bought titan
Also small step ladder get you up 1ft or so then you get it closer to the ceiling. Without extension thats the way to do it when your distance is wrong should be about 12 inches away. Any more your wasting alot of paint.. I realise this is your first time on one but if there is any mist at all youll greatly reduce that by the distance between gun and surface even though its a high production low overspray setup there still is a reasonable amount of silica dust and overspray.
Why did you not mixed the paint after opening? It was a great intro anyway. I intend to start using the same equipment soon and all looks very simple and efficient. Thx.
Brand nEw machine 1st thing you are suppose to flush out the stoarge liquid Inside the machine 😋 good video mate
Hi mr I have some questions if you answer it
1- does it spary’s paint over all or the less and how to avoid
Any tips on spraying a garden wall, paint/water ratios etc. It's my first time using one.
Ill give you a tip mate also when cleaning it out. Take the hoses of and wash them clean wash all the paint residue out on the lawn or laundry tub. Then put the hoses straight back in clean water.. Run the prime hose back into the tin of paint when you see it start to get watery switch to a seperate bucket or point it down a drain or a bathtub once you see clear comin out of the prime hose or even light milky white its clean and wash the main hose/gun out the same way. Just makes for a better clean up will make the unit last longer cleaning the hoses seperately by hand greatly improves cleaning them.. So clean suction hoses drop in clean water reconnect reprime until comes out clear then switch to pray same practice. Pull the guard off dont leave the tip on as that wears the tip. Then next start up its nice and clean.
Nice
Super 🛠️
Hi Bill, fantastic review - You're a natural on the sprayer!
One quick tip, if you bump the pressure up just a touch, you'll see those lines on the edges of the spray pattern disappear into a more even rolloff.
We'll shoot you an email about the Control Pro 150 now..
Thanks for the tips, I realized after the initial testing on the wall that my pressure was low. After adjusting the pressure, it was flawless
@@billshowto Yep the rest looked spot on! Just thought I'd throw the suggestion in here for anyone that comes across the same issue.

Am not a full time painter but have two fences to paint, total 100m or so, could not be bothered with a brush. Have ordered the small floor unit 300w 150 and look forward to receiving and using it.
Have used a Wagner airless gun in the 70s in Germany and remember it gave no trouble. They know what they're doing!
How did it go?
