23:15 Jill went to the RPD 1 day before Leon and Claire made it there. That's why the glass window the nemisis broke to get inside the RPD is already broken when Leon and Claire went there.
And also why Marvin Branagh is just unconscious when Jill saw him. But woke up day later when Leon came to the office.
as of Resident Evil Death Island, Leon and Jill officially interacted with each other
Also her first interaction with Leon and Claire I believe. Although she still never met them in-game.
It's also her first time being in the CG movies
My biggest reason for watching that movie so that the gang can finally all be badasses on the same screen❤
i don’t think the movies are cannon tho, the games are what the people really talk about
@@badgirls1954 if the movies are canon, at least it gives a timeline on what everyone is doing before the next game comes out
The original Resident Evil 3 is such an amazing game 🔥
It’s so replayable.
The ammo types and the alternate scenarios do so much!
I never even knew you could blow Nikolai outta the sky.
Hey, that rhymes
@@CursedWheelieBin It's baffling to me how the remake turned one of the most replayable RE games in the series into one of the least replayable ones
The remake is great as well.
@@CYB3R2KSaid no one evee
@@mateokovac2642 is a great game. I like the story more and I love Jill for once.
Anyone else curious as to what a "cultured" Nemesis would be like? Maybe he pauses his pursuit to appreciate fine art, music, and cuisine?
I have always chuckled at him closing doors behind himself after he enters a room. What a polite guy! 😂
I could imagine him coming back around to sweep up the glass from the window he jumped through, reading the plaques on the statues in the RPD, and scoffing at the calories in the food at Burger Kong, while still secretly loving their fries. It's his guilty pleasure.
I heard his favourite song was by S Club 7.
I envision Nemesis sitting in a recliner, glasses perched on his nose, sipping Earl Grey and reading The New Yorker or Cigar Aficionado . . 😂😂
@@chrisd6287Book of poems, scarf 🧣 😂
A small thing, but in RE3 Remake, Jill's nightmare at the beginning of the game, Nemesis's face can be seen on her TV in a brief channel change.
😲😲
I keep rewatching no damage playthroughs of RE3 (1999).
Turkish Bullet’s are the best. He even examines all the items for the sake of the audience
Mrgstar321 has the best lp
I miss Mrgstar
I agree!! I watch all of his RE playthroughs!! They’re so fun and educational to watch!!
Moonwalker Morris.. it’s not a no damage or anything, but damn he’s funny and entertaining and knows when to be serious at the right times.
@@Don11037Thanks for the tip but I don’t watch videos like that to listen to some guy prattle on. Some people do however and that’s ok.
I don’t have to listen to Turkish Bullet speak and his skill level is amazing.
CarcinogenSDA has separate longplay videos without commentary.
0:09 Who doesn't love Jill Valentine? She's such an awesome character. 💙
Back when she was feminine in the classic trilogy.
They turned her into a bitter, insufferable narcissist in the remake
@@CursedWheelieBinNah, remake Jill is great. She's had enough after the mansion and wants out.
@@CursedWheelieBin I wouldn't say she's a narcissist but definitely more serious and doesn't take shit from anyone. I know she gets a lot of hate for her attitude but I honestly don't blame her especially all the shit she went though in RE1.
One of my favorites next to Claire
Yes but Capcom and that new dev called hirabayashi doesnt give a f*ck about her because he is obsessed with Leon and Ada.
He think that Jill its just an bait like a bonus character for attract bonus audience for bonus cash, just that.
3:06 obtaining culture . . I envision Nemesis sitting in a recliner, glasses perched on his nose, sipping Earl Grey and reading The New Yorker or Cigar Aficionado . . 😂😂
Jolly good ☕️
I instantly envisioned him in samurai armour 🤣
The part with the “top 10 Easter eggs and secret” is VERY zoomed in meaning a lot of stuff is missed (such as the face in the sky)
Ok it wasn't only me. I thought I zoomed in or something 😅
I thought I was losing it
i just spent 20 min trying to fix it thinking it was my pc
SAME ok, not to just be an echo here but glad someone said it too!
@@AGore88I take more offense to your pfp than your comment😂.
Interesting I remember playing RE3 alot back when it came out in 1999 and it was still one of the best Christmas presents I ever got. My favorite epilogue is Claires.
I remember playing it quite a lot but can’t quite remember whether I bought it, rented it, or borrowed it.
There’s even some jackass-style camcorder footage of my friends and I messing around whilst playing it in the summer of 2001, right before you-know-what
@CursedWheelieBin Oh nice lol you were clearly ahead of your time back then. Feel the power of Hulkamania.
Guitar hero two is probably the best Christmas present I’ve ever gotten.
@@CursedWheelieBingood ol blockbuster days
*Starting at **16:00** to around **23:00** the video resolution is ZOOMED IN, so everything is OFF FOCUSED and CUT from the sides*
Those enemies can lay eggs and can have a bunch offspring, it's just kind of rare and it takes some time to see this animation.
Remake 3 was a rushed project. I get that they wanted to capitalize on the success of RE2 but hot damn it was a mess. It could have been called wolfenstine and no one would have said anything
in a way that makes it a very faithful remake
I think they rushed it to get to RE4make faster.
remake was awesome!
I really liked the fast pace of RE 3 remake. I totally understand where folks are coming from that it felt rushed. 🤷
6:57 - I think freeze rounds do about 1/3 more damage than magnum rounds, but obviously suffer from projectile travel time and are thus dodgeable.
I watched a playthrough recently in which Jill accidentally shot Mikhail with a freeze round during the tram fight. Big Nemmy dodged it 😂
He can dodge magnum bullets in the OG also.
The remake of this game did not live up to the original the way 2 and 4’s did. The OG is my favorite of the old school Resident Evils.
The fact that RE2 and RE4 remakes got nominated and won various awards around the world but RE3 didn't ,tels how subpar that game is compared to the other 2 remakes
Yes the Original RE3 was very good. The streets, RPD, Get the tram running, Click Tower, Park, hospital, Umbrella facility it was great.
Original RE 3 Nemesis is masterpiece ❤❤❤❤
Childhood memories
15:30 Resident Evil: Death Island
Not only do we get to see Chris, Leon, Claire, Jill, and Rebecca all interact, they all know one another and it's clear everyone is on good terms with mutual trust and respect. And the concept of nanobot mosquito transmission is frighteningly well realized. Love it.
17:06 It's a rare enemy, in Japanese Wiki it's refered as "larva", in English wiki it's called as "baby flea".
So, it seems the Drain Deimos will have a chance start laying eggs if the player entered the scene without being noticed by them. -- Save and load the game can increase the chance -- according to some videos, which for some reason I cannot share the links... CZcams deletes the comments if I do so x(
Carlos: *breathes*
"No voice match found."
Imho, the original Nemesis was more scary and better thought out then the remake one.
"Jill was the first playable female character in a survival horror game."
Alone in the Dark would like a word.
2:20 It's stupid, but that death animation of Nemesis and Jill going like Hulk and Loki made me bust a gut laughing 😂
@14:34
I know character of Jill isn't exists, but i have really crush on her 😂❤😂
Resident Evil 3 remake did more damage to the RE3 brand than the off brand discount books and movies combined. Ruined Jill, the escape story and the whole hunt with Nemesis. Womp Womp Capcom.
bruh simpin so hard he can't see past those rose tinted glasses
Nah, it was just a bad game. Rushed, poorly voice acted, poorly presented and not one character acted as they should have. This is why cap made extra effort to say RE4 remake wasnt going to be like this. (it had its own problems).
@@King_Strangerhow do you simp for a superior product lmao. Didn't people responsible for the game get canned from the US branch? So much was cut from the remake game its insane it came at the price that it did. Like buying a remake steak dinner but only able to sniff the bread sticks and 'simp in nostalgia' remembering what it taste like
Yeah it ruined a part of the franchise forever
The books were good yo
Poor Murphy... he wanted death, and Carlos gave him a gut full of lead.
Tried to kill him with lead poisoning.
Imagine getting infected with the t virus You're just laying down next to you know Nemesis grabs you and slams you like a rag doll😂
They really did the re3 remake dirty......
15:19 "Jill... was made into scort" that doesn't sound too good 😂
Nemesis left me some traumatic things
Me too. Its worst as a kid but now I can conquered my fear
The mods and hacked games its completely different from our childhood. Its intense and still scared to this day but will experience to play it to survive
He was so annoying and scary
Sorry
I never liked how nemesis keeps following you through out the game it’s really scary 😰
11:27 The first playable female figure in a survival horror game was Emily Hartwood is Alone in the Dark from 1992
I’d say the two gals from Sweet Home were first.
You can sleep soundly now 👍
This is a fact!
came here to say this
3make was a huge missed opportunity.
They made quick and easy money from pre-orders but that’s where it ends. Huge drop off when people realised it was a rushed, lacklustre product.
Those original trilogy games and RE4 have lasting appeal and can be ported onto future consoles for residual profits.
The same cannot be said for the RE3 remake.
As much as I did enjoy the gameplay and the whole dodge mechanic being quite satisfying...for what it is...yeah...soo many fucking missed chances
@@Matkinson91 It's definitely a fun game imo, but as a remake of a game like RE3 it's understandable why longtime fans including myself were disappointed mainly due to the cut content and reused assets from RE2R
I know i was such disappointed when i played it after loving the original.
@deepflare1028 They made RE2 remake great i dunno why they made this one with less effort.
22:56 this cant be the same truck because this is the day before Claire and leon arrived, when jill passes out later after getting Tentacled
Murphie infection is interesting. He ask Carlos to kill him but his body is moving toward him, meaning he have no control over his body but can still control his mind.
15:32 I know this list was made before RE Death Island movie, but she appeared in that movie
I definitely remember the secret world of Alex Mack lol, show was cool! I always ask people if they, also remember, King Arthur and the Knights of Justice but no one does. Awesome video!
RE 3 original- my favorite RE title.
Not even 15 seconds in and Kai hit me with two hard facts. Like damn
I know I'm in the wrong here. But as someone who didnt play the old Re3, I liked R3make. It was short but pretty fun, the dodge took some getting used to, and I'm sad that Carlos didnt get an alt outfit.
Its wild I don’t even remember see Carlos kill his friend after choosing to jump out of the window in the newsroom.
21:47 I’m impressed anyone narrowed it to a movie with the pixelation
16:38 I just could not see it xD
Face? Yeah, I see the face! It’s so facey and.. creepy.. Cool Easter egg!
Where is it actually?
@@byronlleanderjulongbayan7262 nowhere. It’s an editing slip up
Jill is the definition of perfection.
Carlos last name in the games, Oliveira, is the Portuguese spelling. It is pronounced the same as the spelling in the movies. If I had to guess, I would say he is Brazilian. And considering it was in the 90’s, Indian blood probably meant Native American, as in the native tribes of south america
I love the original RE3 it’s a masterpiece 😊🥰
Hunk should have his own spin off series.
This has always been my favorite resident evil.
I love your channel so much dedication and respect for what you do from the bottom of my heart thank you
This vid's longer than the remake. Lol
I also do remember encountering that tiny Drain Deimos, but also never found any info related to it too XD
RE3 is my nightmare Childhood
Thanks for the time and passion in collecting and compiling the information. Always nostalgic good watch RE things
What's interesting is that there's a comic of a non-canon fight between nemesis and William Birkin
Absolutely this video is going to my favorite video list, thank you
Fine ill play OG re3 again
My absolute favorite game, great content as always 💙
Is it just me, or is the video zoomed in from 16:22 onward?
Another Easter Egg: at 29:54 in the restaurant's kitchen is a poster of the 90s sitcom, California Dreams!
I don’t know what took me so long to find your channel but we subscribed now, my boi.
Jill was most definitely not the first playable female in a survival horror game. You could play as the little girl in Alone in the Dark 2.
There was also Clock Tower released on Super Famicom. Played as Jennifer Simpson in 94.
Technically speaking, it was Sweet Home
@@deepflare1028 no. It wasn't. Sweet home is an rpg, not survival horror.
@@hoobaguy4311 Just because it was an RPG and also the first game to popularize the genre of survival horror does not mean it isn't survival horror itself. It had RPG elements and the basics of what made a true survival horror game a survival horror game.
@deepflare1028 ok, by that logic, Billie Sue from Wabbit was the first. Even though it's not a survival horror game, it's a video game, and survival horror video games are also video games. I'm sure one person who played that game was scared at some point.
Dude, I've to say that Nemesis was my childhood monster and I was always scary of him. Well, now I'm 25 and I STILL SCARY, I watched the video minimized and Gosh still hard to look at this thumbnail and some other images of him. Hope I'm not the only ✊🏼😔
Just started watching, can't wait! Resi 3 Nemesis is my fav!!
Tony Rosato is a legend, no one can do better Nemesis voice besides him, pity he past away! :(
This video was amazing to watch 1 hour of resident evil 🎉
The original Nemesis will always be the best Nemesis
The Drain Deimos does hatch little ones. Also the brain sucker is technically the exact same enemy but it can't one swipe kill you on hard iirc
Bro not only did I not know bout the lamps I also didn’t know you could shoot down the box where you 1st encounter the chimeras.
I love Alex Mac, one of Nickelodeon s best 90s shows
An hour long Ink Ribbon video on my favourite Resident Evil?!
Yes please 😍😍😍
Giving a like and commenting to praise you giving both the imperial and metric systems of measure, it helps tremendously people like me who are fluent in English but don't live in the USA. Also very good content, hope to see more in the future.
Nope you're not the only one who knows about Alex Mack lol. Grew up in the 90's, Secret world of Alex Mack was one of my fav shows on Nick
Hey ink ribbon
Just want to shout out with love and how awesome you are. You have so much full knowledge which is amazing and I'm happy you have this channel. Keep doing what you're doing..
Best wishes❤
Jill was not the first playable female in a survival horror game. Emily Hardwood was and if you want to go further back there's a lot of NES games based on slasher movies that as female options to play as.
Great Video! Love RE3 so much!
I LOVE these facts videos! Thanks!
Nemesis is actually referred to as such in a supervisor memo in RE3. It's the only time in the game the name is used.
I remember Alex Mack!
It was my favourite as a kid :D
Still my favorite one after all those years. Must have played through it several dozen times by now
27:42 Thanks for that information...! no wonder why one of my cousins and my sister had a crush on Carlos when their playing the game! voice actor must have done the voice acting on point!
Multiple Nemesis, I forgot about them, good times
Always a fan! Thank you Ink Ribbon!
Resident evil 3 1999 is the best video game ever - FACT.
The remake was an abomination - FACT.
We, as loyal fans, deserve a faithful film adaptation - FACT.
Also dude, I don't think that's the crash site. The cop car were totally blown to smithereens.
Knowing Nemesis is the most iconic vilain in any video games and jill the most recognized female character in any video games too, they could have done something better. Even separate ways is longer and better than this actual game.
Like many, I'll just pretend it never happened. 😂
OG Nemesis > Remake Nemesis
there's mariah carey anytime you need a friend poster in the city
15:35
She did appear in the latest one, I believe. Never watched it, but seen the discussion about her not aging
11:25 Jill isn't the first playable female in a survival horror. Emily Hartwood beats her out by several years.
Wow that Alex Mack was a nostalgia trip! Nice one
17:16 just like the spiders in original RE directors cut.
The best Re and PS1 game ever made
As a Canadian, I can confirm Barry moved up here and opened a sandwich shop
17:00 Oh those baby crickets! Dunno what they're called, I just called them crickets. The big ones spits them out a lot and they can be stomped on, shot at, but I don't bother wasting time/ammo on em, they despawn once ye exit the room or hallway.
Couple things:
The drain demos babys are for them to reappear later if you don't dispatch them. If you do kill them they stay away until zombies will appear later in the game.
Nemesis drops: that is not reserved for only hard mode. The original ps1 release, normal difficulty had the same exact drop pattern.
The tyrants at the end of the game (and just the dead factory in general): Original Lore was that there was a large scale battle where the military was flown in and umbrella released 5 other T type tyrants to test them. This occurs during the events of RE2. The helicopter that drops off Mr X has other canisters that are deployed to the dead factory for this battle.
The reason of factory having other mutants on that floor: that factory was built to dispose of tests of umbrella. In some of the readings, you would see that their disposal process is getting overwhelmed from the t virus. They actually had some of the first outbreaks of infection in that factory from them being unable to dispose of the experiments safely.
My theory: There also might have been a reason the military came there first, because it was an above ground Umbrella Facility, which may have been why Umbrella tried so hard to keep them out of there (hence that battle).
I remember that also happen to me they do produce little ones I ran around and it shit out like 3-4 you can also step on them too
Kai the secrets of RE3 segment has a smaller screen resolution and many pf the images are cut off. I remember watching it on the original video. The image of Alex Mack was a good catch! 1990s TV trivia for 90s games!
Nemesis is so annoying. You can't avoid his attacks and he just slams you on the ground and smushes your head.
Just so everyone is clear, everything up to Jill getting the vaccine and waking up takes place before RE2 and everything after that takes place towards the end of RE2
I never knew about Murphy dialog, this is completely new to me
Loving this!! Nemesis definitely traumatized me as a kid, remake, not so much. Was good when he appeared but really could have been done better or close to the original. Thats what made it horrifying at the time after all!!
I may have missed it somewhere, but have you done the Alyssa Ashcroft facts yet? I know she was referenced in R.E Seven (7) but I would still like to see if there is something I still don't know yet.
Keep up the awesome videos!!
💪😎💕
Secret World of Alex Mack was soooo good back in the day
4:00 Tony Rosaro was also the voice of Luigi in the Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World animated series.
Not fair to say Carlos only met Jill and Nikolai in the main series. Homeboy also must have met Barry too since Barry saves them both at the end of the original.
