- Cold start of my 1978 Chevy truck. It has been sitting in my shop for about 2 months. OK...it's actually 95 degrees out!
For the purists out there...the grille is from a 1980 model. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
1980 grill is a nice touch
Thanks Jay. I wish I had the right year grill, but it's hard to find an original with the bowtie in good condition.
I had a 77 but i sold it , the grill that is it ws good shape
thats a really nice old chev it would be wise to hold on to er
Thanks Trevor. I plan to keep it....at least until someone makes an offer I just can't refuse.
THAT... Is perfection.
what a great sound of that big block, I live in Holland the most cars here have tiny engines
Yes, I agree. Unfortunately, here in the states most cars have tiny engines as well.
That's gorgeous thanks for sharing it
Thanks!
Thanks. I don't have plans to sell it, but I'm always open to an offer I can't refuse.
Where did you get ur front bumper?
What exhaust does this have? Thanks beautiful truck too
Dual turbo mufflers, headers, crossover pipe.
wow that was quick! thanks! figured it had to be more than just dual exhaust. crossover pipe and headers always gives it that extra melody. nice truck hope youre still taking care of it. Almost looks lifted too. Maybe 255s on it
Real nice looking truck.....Was that an electric fuel pump making all that noise? If it was it should not have taken so long to pump up, may want to look into that pump and if it's carb'd you may want to adjust that choke, should have started up quicker and smoother than it did.
Sound great, what are ya asking for it??
They don't make them like that anymore 😪
Do you still have the truck
Carl Ball yes
you got a sub do you still have it .,n how much ??
?? Not sure what you mean by "you got a sub.." Yes I still have it. I am not actively trying to sell the truck, but for an offer I couldn't refuse, I'd consider letting it go.
what kind of fuel mileage do you get?
+marthasmadman
It gets about 7 MPG, but I don't care.
cool
What's the mpg lol
um, like 6-7.
It's funny, my Ford 6.7 diesel gets better mileage towing 15,000 lbs than the Chevy big block running empty. You can almost literally watch the gas gauge go down!
What size tires/wheels?
Awesome truck sir! I'm currently restoring a 77 K10 Silverado long bed and wanted to know a little more about yours. Is there a small lift on the truck? Can you tell me more about the bumpers? I love the winch!!! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Mike. The truck has a 2" lift. The front bumper is just a typical aftermarket winch bumper that was painted to match the body color. The rear bumper was custom made - it has a slide out to accommodate a camper - which I don't use.

Did you get a chance to check out the other video I have on this truck?

LOL kinda funny you had to deal with purists before hand, there are a lot in the domestic scene and they suck
I mean ISUBED TO YOUR CHANNEL ( HOW MUCH YOUR ASKING FOR IT )
IS IT A ONE OWNER AND WHAT,S THE MILAGE THANKS
Ok, got it. Thanks. As for the truck, I'm not the original owner and I don't know the actual mileage. Like I said, I don't have a price in mind as I'm not actively trying to sell it. But, I'm sure there is an offer out there that I'd have a hard time refusing.
can,t you look up in the odometer to get the milage .
are you asking more than $10000. just say what you have in mind !!
I could, but it wouldn't mean much since I cannot verify whether it is the actual mileage. Just curious why you'd be concerned about mileage on a 39 year old truck?
Hi the car looks nice sounds in a good shape and nobody could say aword about it .to my mind a real buyer shoud know
A LITTLE ABOUT WHAT HE IS PAYING FOR .
BEST REGARDS SIR .
