This American loves to watch and rewatch these shows simply because they represent a long-gone era of leadership fueled by an elegant style of royalty. Despite the obvious wealth gap, the King and Queen of the 40s seemed to relate with their people; they stood as one. Very nice.

I love the royal family. I'm American and have always loved the queen. I can't believe she's gone. The QM was a very special woman who got Britain through ww2 with her love and charm. She was so very elegant right up till her death.

The pictures of the cards are not for the Queen mother - one is from Diana who had predeceased her - and also one from Elizabeth ( and the the bottom corner Queen Mother ) I am sceptical she sent her own flowers to her own funeral - and that Diana sent one ..........nice documentary strange tribute section ....

We will always love queen Elizabeth because she joined America 🇺🇸 in liberation of the holocaust victims from being totally exterminated just like queen Esther did to save a whole Jewish nation these two queens will in our lifetime of history will forever be remembered as heroes and iconic queens 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
